Squeeze Massage - Brentwood at CityPark

Mayana was the absolute best massage I ever had. There's literally no comparison to the service she gave! The stress evaporated from my whole body. She has a gift from God 10/10!!!

Technological aspect ios incredible. You can do almost everything online or app. Starting from schedule yourself on time that fit you. Then the therapist you prefer, following check in the aromatherapy scent and finally in the room the music you like to have during massage. The choices for scent are heal-good, do-good, live-good and sleep-good. Choices for music are vibes, indie,island, zen, waves and piano. As you can see there are a lot of choices, that I almost forgot that during signup for appointment there are choices for what kind of massage including what part of the body to emphases more or less. It appears a new business is coming in the town. In this case it's a Brentwood. My experience having treatment for the first time at Squeeze with DeAndre was excellence.

I feel bad giving this review but in my experience I don’t think this situation was handled properly. My fiance booked this 50-min massage for me as a surprise which I was super excited for. I filled out the intake & preference forms (which was really easy & user friendly). There’s an option to select if you want more focus & time spent on a specific area & then the option to leave other areas as “normal” or not to spend any time on it at all. I thought this was a really unique & cool feature. I selected a few areas to spend more time on & left the rest on “normal”. When I got in there for my appointment the receptionist was super friendly, showed me around & my massage therapist came out to greet me. (I’m not going to name her b/c she was very sweet & my issue is more with management at this point) She took me to my room & went over my intake & preferences with me based on what I selected. The flow of the massage was very odd & I’ve never had one quite like it... the whole thing just seemed very disorganized. She moved incredibly slow & spent very little time in certain areas before moving on & I had no idea if she would return to them or not. I kept thinking this is definitely not a normal amount of time so I began counting. She would spend less than 30 sec in each spot. Knowing there were a few areas I wanted more time in I would expect her time management to be more organized. If you do the math there is plenty of time to spend more than 30 seconds in each area AND give more time to the areas I asked for. I don’t even really understand where all the time went. I found myself regretting choosing “more” for certain areas because of just how little I was getting in other areas. If I had known, i would’ve never changed the preferences. When the massage was over I asked the receptionist questions & she recommended talking to the manager. I spoke with the manager & she told me less than 30 seconds in certain areas is what would result in me choosing “more” for other areas & next time i should book the 80 minute massage so I have enough time to cover everything I need. The receptionist the whole time looked very uncomfortable with the manager’s responses & I could tell she knew this wasn’t accurate or being properly handled either. The manager then asked if I wanted to book an 80 minute massage & I told her I’m a stay at home mom & it’s hard for me to get even 50 min to do something like this. I was basically telling her I wasn’t happy with my experience & her only solution was for me to spend more money & book another massage for a longer amount of time. Then the receptionist gave me some names of therapists who would be able to give me everything I’m looking for in a 50 minute massage. My thoughts: •Why is the manager saying my therapist’s time management is normal when there are others who would’ve been able to give me everything I needed out of the 50 minutes? •Why even offer 50 min massages if I would need 80 min to get everything needed? •If time could be an issue in a 50 min massage, why allow people to select “more” if that is not possible to achieve in 50 min? •Why wasn’t there any sort of disclaimer about this? I somehow was supposed to just know that “normal” meant less than 30 seconds and that “more” was going to takeaway from the overall experience? I think management handled this poorly especially being my first time there. The receptionist was great throughout though, & I could tell she felt bad about what happened. At this time I will be cautioning my friends about my experience at Squeeze & will not be returning.

This was my first time visiting this franchise and Shaquila gave me what was probably the best massage I’ve ever had. I will be back to see her specifically.

I got simultaneously the worst and most expensive massage here I’ve ever had. The name “Squeeze” is accurate, I asked for deep tissue and they hardly worked on me at all. Felt the exact same walking out as I did walking in. Perhaps they should also call the place “Amateur”. Go somewhere else where the focus is on the massage itself and not a fancy website and terrible interior design.
