Merritt Massage

Merritt Massage provides high quality massage in a clean and pleasant (if somewhat sparse) environment. $60 for an hour is a very good price. The manager (or owner?) Jessica is very friendly and remembers customers (even if they only come in occasionally).

Been going here for at least 2 years now and seeing Jessica. She's amazing and consistent. Place is no frills but clean and a great value.

This was the weirdest massage I ever had. Upon walking in my masseuse was lying on the couch with her feet up. I told her I had an appointment and showed her my Groupon. She didn’t seem to know what the Groupon was, or speak any english whatsoever. She led me into the room where I would have my massage, where we found a naked man on a table receiving his massage. She apologized and walked me to a different room. She took my phone into the other room and tried to have her coworker help her with the Groupon with no success. I asked her to do just upper body and I left my pants on, feeling slightly uncomfortable after she had walked me into somebody else’s room. She said OK, however, immediately started doing my lower body first. Thank God I kept my pants on because she literally straddled me on top of the table and massage my back like my five-year-old sister would. She got down and went to the other side of the table near my head and knelt onto the table with my head between her knees . She constantly had a hand resting on my butt while she massaged with one hand on my back. Several times she seemed distracted and concerned with what was going on outside of the room and at one point another worker walked in in the middle of my massage, turned on the lights and handed me my purse to get my phone out so she could figure out the Groupon. I was literally bare chested on the table so I asked for some privacy and she walked out. My masseuse was strong I will give her that, but some of the massage especially on my neck was way too painful. When the massage was over she proceeded to try to make me pay again even though I had already bought a Groupon. She made me wait for the manager to come in just to have him explain to her how the Groupon works . I politely tried to leave and told him to have a good day but he prompted me to “tip the lady“. I thought that was very rude of him to ask me first of all and very rude that he didn’t even seem to know his employees name. This place was very dirty and unprofessional please save your time and money and go to a place that knows what they’re doing and cares about their customers.

I enjoy treating myself to massages. This time my husband and Indulged in a couples massage. I must say thatI we live in Bear Mountain; we took the drive out to Norwalk to experience the most amazing massage ever. The massage tables are heated (WOW), I've never experiences that before, so hands down this is one of the best places that I have been to a an extremely reasonable price, very clean, friendly, and professional.

OMG . One of the best massages I have ever had, $50 for 45 mins. This is a clean and relatively quiet facility. I will return !
