Carolyn is the best. It has taken me several years to find a massage therapist that I feel comfortable with and is effective. As someone with end stage lung disease, practitioners are often hesitant to touch me and tend to automatically deem me fragile. When I explained my history to Carolyn, she was understanding and truly listened to what I needed from a massage standpoint. My monthly appointments have been tremendously helpful in dealing with my chest and back pain. When I mentioned to Carolyn that I was ready to try a deeper massage on my back, she was immediately receptive and continuously checked in to make sure I was getting the treatment I wanted. Aside from the actual massage, Carolyn is just as happy to chat as she is to let you enjoy the massage in silence - it's up to whatever mood you're in. Whether you're looking to treat yourself or seeking help for a persistent injury/pain, Carolyn and Embodiment Movement can do it all.

Renee was fantastic!! She had a challenge with the knots in my shoulders and she worked magic. She is skilled in her trade, really knows how to tailor the treatment for what you need, and gives helpful tips on how to reduce muscle tightness. If we lived in the area, I would be a regular client. She's friendly, professional, and creates a calm and inviting atmosphere. I wish I could give her more than 5 stars!

Carolyn always inquires about what I need and focuses on making sure she works on those specific areas. She gives an awesome massage always improving the troublesome areas. Carolyn really cares about her clients offering multiple solutions for issues I may have. I highly recommend Embodied Movement!

I consider myself pretty ticklish and very tense/stiff so, I have always been nervous about trying out a new massage place after moving away from my old one. That being said, Renee was absolutely wonderful! She made me feel very comfortable and I was able to relax more than I had anticipated. I will definitely be going back and I recommend Renee to anyone else who might also be nervous about getting a massage!

Erin is a very attentive massage therapist, she is very willing to accommodate any personal needs. The only reason for a 4 rather than 5 is that she does not yet have years of experience, but I’m sure that she will build a successful practice!

I got a deep tissue massage from Renee. She has strong hands and really worked out my knots. I appreciated that she was quiet during the massage, allowing me to really relax.
