Juan Garcia likes to use SJPD as a weapon to make him feel comfortable. He thinks he’s tough when he’s not that man IM HIM. Here is a picture of my grandkids

New owner has made some nice upgrades to the back patio, however the drink prices went way up. Also the Happy Hour is literally only an hour, 5:30pm-630pm. Just up the block is Splash with a 4 hour Happy Hour and drinks 1/4 price of Macs. A dive gay bar shouldn't have Fairmont Hotel lobby bar drink prices. Macs used to be a fun stop, but not anymore. Bummer.

This was my neighborhood gay bar. Pains me to rate em down. They were an excellent dive bar. They have just jacked up their prices to ultra lounge prices. Hoped the change of ownership would bring positive changes or at least status quo. Budlight tap beer is pushing $10... Two thumbs down. Splash next door, although it's a club, they are way more reasonable, they have buy one get one for a $1 during happy hour. Good thing there's a mix over at Caravan, realistic prices at a legit dive bar. Not a gay bar, but everyone is welcome there.

This place is a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community. The bartenders are all wonderful, the owner is really nice also. Love love love the community!!!

Aj was our bartender, never had to ask for a drink and food came super fast. The couple next to me spoke very highly of aj and Hannah. Will definitely be back!

I think this place is gross. The guys are rude. I feel bad enough being gay. Now I just feel even worse. Thanks for treating me like garbage. I also don't think its a transgender safe space. I was treated poorly by the patrons and staff while in makeup etc. They called me names like big bertha and made me feel bad. I feel 100% unwelcome here. Its a shame bar not a pride bar. Update...looks like she destroyed Don Pedros. She always gets the last laugh. Eye for an eye and castles made of sand fall in the sea eventually.

I came here to kill some time before an appointment I had in the area. This is a small and efficient gay-themed (but I felt totally comfortable just being myself) bar that plays great music. Of course, since it's on Post Street in downtown San Jose, the parking is nil to nonexistent. The patrons are nice and the drinks are cold. I will return again in the future, I'm sure of that.

They had a random guy that was drinking at the bar check IDs. And the whole group of people/ friend's that were their all looked while I was asking since when do they check IDs. Because even during covid they weren't checking for no IDs or vaccination card or a 72 hour rapids test. It was very unpleasant going their and having two out of three bartenders their request ID again at the bar?! Super confused I asked a regular who goes there and he stated that their all friends and not to let them know that he told me their checking IDs and double charging the drink to non locals.
