When visiting, its a myst stop. Great music, friendly crowd on a Tuesday afternoon. The mimosa was perfect for this summer afternoon.

Our 1st stop in San Francisco. The bartender, Andy, is brilliant. He answers our inane touristy questions ad nauseum. Patient, kind, and sweet. He gave us tips on who, where, what to see/do while we're here.

We recently visited The440 during a trip from Florida to California with a group of six, and I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received. After spending money on three rounds of drinks, it was obvious that the cocktails were not made with the proper amount of liquor. When I politely brought this to the bartender’s attention, he casually dismissed my concern and said he would only remake the drinks if I paid extra for the shot. I found this response completely unprofessional and disrespectful. We were there as paying customers, looking to enjoy our evening, and this felt like a cheap attempt to overcharge us for what we should have already gotten. Instead of fixing the issue and ensuring our satisfaction, the bartender’s attitude made it clear they didn’t care. This experience left a bad taste in our mouths and ruined what could have been a fun night out. I expected much better hospitality, especially as an out-of-town guest bringing business to this establishment. Since there are plenty of other bars in the area, I can’t see myself recommending this place to anyone looking for quality drinks or good service. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Strong drinks, really friendly bartenders. Has inside and outside seating. Underwear night is really fun on Mondays!

They have $3 beer! No complaints!

Love this place. Vacationing in SF and while visiting Castro district decided to take advantage of happy hour. Love love love it. I feel like at home aka NYC. Bartender is amazing, friendly and sexy. The crowd is cool and relaxed. Ame during the day. Maybe at night this place gets wild. Might stay to see the action. Haha. #thumbsup

What an amazing bar. Monday night $5.00 margaritas are awesome. Great staff!

Great place to drink and have fun at Castro. We went with a group of friends, the place was crowded but the service was good and the price for the beer also fare! There are some chairs to sit at the bar but mostly you just have to stay stand up.
