Cruiser's Lounge

I moved here almost 6 months at the time and my 24 yr old daughter visited from Minnesota, where we're from and very familiar with drag brunches and shows so we showed up for bingo. As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed, never had and negative feelings from management or employees and I've been back 10+ times for the friendliness and joy being around others that accept me too.

As far as gay bars go, definitely a way better vibe than normal. Well lit and cozy instead of dark and seedy. Went in for an event, the tuesday line dance. Margs were cheap but mediocre (premade huge jug, think applebees dollar margs) walking tacos were nice and... free! which was a huge surprise. The bartender was a total sweetheart 10/10. Line dance dude taught 1 song and then straight up dipped at like 7:45 (an hour and 15 mins early than posted time) he did mention the "regular" line dance crowd was all out of town? still super disappointing to just kinda get left with the most generic country playlist and no lessons. We did end up bailing at around 9 so didn't get to see if the place devolved into regular "gay bar" style late night but what we were there for (minus the ??? line dance lesson event) was actually very enjoyable and a really pleasant surprise from normal gay bar vibes.

I’ve been coming here for 10+ Years. Used to be a dive bar- now it’s beautiful. The service is … eh. The owner lingers and scowls. Not 5 people watching the drag shows. It’s become a play for the 60 plus crowd. Go over the bride to rascals it’s packed wall to wall. The our door bar is only open in the evening/ weekends. The drinks are pricy and lite ( shocking for a gay bar). If they had good music on a Friday evening and not a piano maybe more people would come.

I was searching for gay bars while visiting. This place hit the spot. The air conditioning is great. The music pleasant as well. Also the bartenders and patrons are extremely welcoming. Their new patio is amazing as well!

Horrible bartenders, hopefully you aren't there anytime near a shift change. The owner is not welcoming to non-regulars. We visited from Tampa. He made my group aware he was the owner.

2023 update: Cruisers has undergone an extensive renovation, both indoors and outdoors. And the smoking is gone inside! I’ve changed my former 3 star rating to 5 stars. Old review: I’m not a smoker, which put me in a tiny minority at Cruisers. The patrons, the bartenders, everyone smokes here. People were friendly & the beer was inexpensive. Definite loss of a star due to air pollution.

THE Most beautiful outdoor courtyard bar in Cape! Welcoming to everyone; “No hate allowed.” Excellent entertainment of all sorts with drag shows, the caliber you’d expect in Miami. Superb staff and management. Always one of my favorite spots.

The staff at Cruisers, provides phenomenal service. The owner Greg, does so many great things for our community and I’m lucky to call him a friend. I recently got married and my husband and I had our reception at Cruisers. Let me tell you the venue was perfect! They decorated for us, was beyond beautiful, the food they made was absolutely BRILLIANT! The newly renovated bar, bathrooms and patio, served as a fun filled but yet intimate space for our guests. Thank you Cruisers, for helping my husband and I have a flawless reception, filled with memories, love, laughter and yes even some happy tears!
