I Traveled from SPI to Brownsville and Ive decided to check out the local bar, heard they had a great show Saturday night. Well tbh I can’t really recommend this place because I wasnt even allowed to get in. Bouncer at the door told me I don’t speak Spanish and I was just by myself(sounds suspicious!, right? lol). I really wish I could share how good this bar is, but pro tips, apparently you will need to go with someone. Until you become that one who knows the bouncer. Then you will need to speak Spanish. (And looking like an Asian doesn’t help, so maybe I should wear a mask??) (Btw I would love to give a 5 star to their DJ, he definitely made some cool noise, just by listening outside after I got rejected from the bar 🙁 ) Thank you Mr bouncer, I will remember this for rest of my life.

Great music (not just pop, but also Spanish and Charli XCX), the energy is correct, and the flow and set up is top knotch! Either come early to grab a drink or stay late and dance the night away! This feels like the last real gay/queer Bar in Texas.

My fiancee and I went here while visiting Padre Island because we really enjoy going to these places. Always a fun environment and very welcoming, even though we're a straight couple. This place was no exception. Extremely friendly people working in the bar, the DJ was awesome and the people were very polite and made us feel very welcome, like we were regular customers there. Definitely a must if we're ever there again!

Awesome and friendly staff that will make you feel at home if you're a regular or a newcomer! Take advantage of the happy hour or come with friends to party with on the weekend! Try a Leo's M&M if you're a fan of peanut butter!!

Marco is the best bartender here!!!! I had a Paloma, a margarita, a tamarind shot without tamarindo, and a candy shot all 10/10. Ask for the Tamarindo shot, you won’t be sorry!!!!

Great Atmosphere, Always welcomed with a smile by the great bartenders and dolls. Shows are awesome! Always a Fun night. Dolls are the sweetest. Owners are awesome! Can’t stop using Awesome for this place, it’s definitely a place to check out. We love Bar-B. Great time, Great music!
