We visited this spot for some drinks and hookah, and we quite enjoyed it. However, it was extremely crowded and bustling, making it a lively hangout spot with friends. Yet, if you seek a quiet place for a chat, this isn't the ideal spot due to the loud atmosphere during the early evening hours. The hookah was decent but not exceptional, probably a three out of five for a hookah enthusiast like me. The service was understandably busy, so they couldn't be attentive all the time. Nevertheless, the ambiance exuded immense joy and liveliness, making it a delightful place to socialize with friends.

Loved this bar. Felt so comfortable in this bar. I didn't eat any of the food. I was there for drink and to socialize. My only issue was the hookah. I've got asthma, so that kept triggering a cough. Besides that, I would come back every day if I could. Only bar in DC that as a person of color, I felt at home. I recommend this place 100%%%

My wife and I had a great time checking out the new Thurst lounge. Even for a Thursday it was pretty packed. Although the vast majority of patrons were men we still felt welcomed and comfortable. Prices were reasonable and bathrooms were clean. We would definitely return.

This is a really great lounge through & through. From the security at the door to the bartender wait staff and DJ all great ! The music is definitely a vibe and I love the happy hour ! Awesome space for the community.

Thurst Lounge is a whole grown azz vibe! Service was amazing, dranks were drankin and OMG, the music was giving “I’m trying to sit down but I can’t”! A great spot for after work HH, a low key hang or a full turn up moment. I’m so glad this place is here and can’t wait to come back.

I decided to stop by since it had popped up as a recommendation on Yelp. I was welcomed at the entrance by Mr Moe. (There is no fee to enter) The bartender is kind and respectful. (Ask for Kyle) Downstairs is more like a small social zone. Upstairs is where all the dancing vibe is at. It's an LGBTQ-friendly environment. Also a black-owned business. Was recommended to re-visit to give their Tacos a try. Stop By And Give Them A Chance. I sure will be revisiting.

Went on a crowded weekend. It was nice to see a great addition to the DC club and bar scene thats appeals to the younger urban audience. I don't know if I'd call this a lounge because it was more standing than anything. Perhaps, earlier in the evening and on weekdays it has that lounge atmosphere. They should serve food upstairs only or end food service at 9pm downstairs and remove the cocktail chairs because it became difficult to get to the bar. People were sitting at the bar top elbow to elbow eating wings and more with hookah service on the bar top. Most gay bars I've been to will remove bar top chairs as the night goes on, but this 2 level bar kept them all night in the downstairs portion. It's smaller downstairs and the bar top is at this narrow portion of the entrance. It was extremely frustrating trying to squeeze in between people sitting, talking, eating and smoking. There's only one bar downstairs. Would I go back? Undecided. The drink experience and dj talking over the music wasn't ideal.
