Really fun drag open mic. Mainly performances that don't get a shot so fun and happy people mainly. Place is smallish stage area with not a lot of room to site or stand which is not great for shows, and even hanging out. There is a back area inside that seems disjointed from every thing else. Atmosphere has always been pretty good so

Open stage every Wednesday is always great! Such good talent and performances! The bartenders are friendly, and the vibe is so welcoming!

Great spot for amazing local drag. Be sure to go for Wednesday open stage, or check their socials for any posted events. Not a ton of room so arrive early if you want to be sure you get a good spot to watch.

Fun dive bar...really really really bad drag show...almost annoying wanted it to stop and we love drag shows but wow terrible performers

The Blue Moon is the most welcoming gay bar that I've been to in Pittsburgh by far. I would go by myself when I first moved to the city and came out and, over the years, I've introduced many friends to the bar. I've had so many wonderful interactions with staff and patrons there and I can't recommend it enough!

Blue moon is the spot if your trying to get a good drink in Pittsburgh. Orange haired bar tender with the cute silly personality will make you a killer pizza, even better then the spot next door. With a playlist of gold blue moon is the place to be

Arrived 30ish minutes before a show and it was pretty dead - nice time to grab drinks and chat. The bartender Izzy was sweet, friendly, and professional. It got much more lively when the show started. The drag show ran super smoothly in such a small and packed space, I was impressed. Good vibes and good people all around! Everyone knows everyone, without being cliquey.

Just spent over $20 on drinks and pool within an hour before stepping outside because I couldn't find my friend who was just inside minutes ago. He wasn't allowed back in because the door person said they were at capacity even though we both had our credit cards on tabs and we both stepped out just for a second to get some fresh air since there was no other place. They literally just let out 10 people before me and didn't let that many in between me leaving or coming back in. I still wasn't allowed back in after informing the person I just stepped out minutes ago. I'm a security guard at Ohio's largest gay night club AKA the largest gay nightclub in the Midwest and I would not recommend anybody to ever come to this bar.....EVER. There was an assault at the bar tonight around 2 between a performer and a patron. The patron said she was in fear because the performer was a man.
