I was drugged Friday (11/15) around 5-8pm just be weary and watch your drinks. Luckily, my friend was there. I have been going to boxers sporadically and recently consistently since I was 21 (so 8 years). I rarely go there for more than two hours and usually leave before 9. Never have I left too intoxicated or erratic. The bouncer was good in providing water but when he rudely told my friend this behavior has happened to me many times before I really think this shows a lack of compassion and cognizance of the clientele he puts in lazily without carding. That weird clientele that tried to get me out of the bar has personality issues to address. There are reasons things happen (mistakes happen; misunderstandings happen) that do not revolve around some entitled scrawny idiot. The bartenders know my name and my friends know the bartenders. We aren’t a pack of wild animals.

Horrible service, the bartender served me a glass of club soda for 10 dollars, come on, Tuesday night and that’s the service u get, that’s why u guys keep closing and opening different locations, cuz u can give a good service and the costumers get tired of it……never coming back and telling all My friends not to go either, because is not fair to leave our money in a place where they don’t appreciate their costumer or money……it’s a no no go place

Gay friend took me and some other friends both from the city and visiting from out of town here. Everyone here was friendly and welcoming from the staff to the other people there to have a good time. It may be a gay bar but everyone is welcome and everyone makes you feel welcome. Good food and drinks, good services. The food and drinks are reasonably priced too especially for NYC. There's a nice little quasi-outdoor area and the DJ was awesome and was playing music that really had me in a fun mood just enjoying myself and the company of my friends. It is extremely hard to talk in there especially to the staff at the bar but you work through it the best you can

Went for the first time at this bar. Im sober and have been for a long time, and usually gay bars have started putting mocktails or NA beer. But this place doesnt have any. So ordered a shirley temple which the bartendar was happy to make. But i quite didnt enjoy the drink, it was watered down it felt and just sugar. So after the drink i asked for water, the bartendar gave me a very judgemental look as he thought i might order something else too. Then you guys should keep more options. I already am judged everywhere outside, I dont want to come to a gay bar and feel judged, too. Im tired of this. I want a place where i feel belonged. Can't i even get that at a gay bar. Also, i couldnt use the restroom, there were creeps at the entrance, and i just left the bar. But the music was good. The crowd in the bar was good. I would go back if they had more NA drinks, but i dont think this will happen soon.

The fact that this queer establishment got rid of happy hour only for pride weekend is a sick manipulation - monetizing and capitalizing on a time that should be highlighting and celebrating the queer experience. Talk about greedy and vile. That's a no for me, dawg.

If you like admiring sculptured pecs while you down a few this is a great place. Boxers seems to be short staffed with causes those hard pec feelings to wane quickly. There are some game tables and there is some space to distance which are both a big plus. You will also find screens and I think this is more of a chat than dance atmosphere.

The DJ tonight was horrible! Smoked on his vape and skipped beats a lot. Can’t dj. Walked away from the booth a lot. Didn’t mix songs well. Played same artist over and over auto play. . Dj around 10Pm to midnight on 06/28/24. Don’t bring him back.

Service with a smile- can't top that. The wings looked good. The drink though? $13+ for a mixed drink in a small plastic cup? The drink wasn't watered down, but the small plastic cup doesn't make me want to return. It's one of the reasons I don't drink at some clubs anymore. I can forgive the plastic cup if it's sizeable.
