James, he always brings a positive attitude to the table Whenever I visited with my partner and my friends to support the LGBTQ bar business for many years since 2021 but this week I had a bad experience with a new bartender guy he doesn’t have bartender skills experience that much also he showed a bad attitude toward the table when I mentioned him you did a mistake on my drinks, he told me to leave the bar right away, I was very disappointed after I got treated like this, I've been going over the last 4 years with my partner and so many friends from Long Island, from the city, this is how I got treated at the end now, me and my partner, and our friends all over NYC will no longer visit anymore. James we will miss you❤️.

The owner made us feel welcome. He treated everyone there so well. They have a slide show running so you can see all of the pride events NuBar is involved in and the bar's history. The bar is covered in pennies and there's a pool table. Nice local hang out place.

Fun crowd, great drinks. Lots of great theme nights: Karaoke, Bingo.. Excellent bartenders

The LAST gay-owned & gay-operated bar on Long Island! This place is such a gem! Great people, and a fantastic place to find some community. The bartenders are super nice & all people are welcome. It’s wonderful!

Had a great time here while visiting Long Island. Bartender was very friendly and made excellent, strong drinks. Also very affordable.

Being the last of the lgtb bars on long Island we must treat them like gold... The pizza was great my cocktail was delightful

Love this place. I don't drink, and even for me as a teetotaler, it is always a warm, inviting, and comfortable space that is low on attitude and big on fun. Karaoke nights with Dennis (first Saturday of the month typically) are an absolute blast!
