Came here on the transgender party night. Pretty small, intimate location. Was good vibes with drinks priced slightly above typical NYC average. Expected for a sort of niche bar. Met some nice ladies, one I wanted to spend more time with. Paid to get time between just the two of us and did not get even close to the time or experience discussed. Would not ever go back here. Really sad that this place would operate like this and slowly ruin the reputation of one of the only trans forward locations in the world’s best city. So disappointed will honestly go out of my way to tell people to avoid this thievery. $600+ gone.

Beware of this scammers gay bar it is filled with Dominican Sanky Pankies who will scam and rob you. I was robbed by three of over $260000 by the names of Alex ,Danny,Annuedy,JR etc The police needs to close this place down

Good prices and Josh is probably my favorite bartender in NYC right now. Would have sprung for the full Monte (five stars) but for the nightly cover charge starting around 9 pm. An always wacky and occasionally wild venue I can count on for consistency, charm and value.

Complete bull...a stripper pulled my boyfriend and I into a private room without us asking, started dancing, and the next thing l know he's pulled his package out and pushed us down to service him. At the end, he demanded $100 bucks. I guess we got played. Live and learn. Stay far away.

If you want to lose an easy $200 don't get a lap dance. You kinda get pulled into one and lure you into a private room. Once your there get out! I'm not from here and did not expect this I wish the dancer told me and it's super sketchy!

Fairytail is everything I dreamed of as a girl and everything I want to be now but my job deems unacceptable. Glitter, feathers, mythical animals, nudity, oh my! Friend who live in my neighborhood had spoken highly of Fairytail, but I hadn't been until this year. We made the trek on an unseasonably cool summer evening west of 10th avenue to a no man's land I rarely visit. For Manhattan the mid-40s so far west can get a little icky. Keep your eyes peeled and don't walk around drunk and vulnerable. Besides the slight trek to Fairytail, I really like the place. It is niche, but I've always had a good time. The bar has go-go boys usually wearing only a jock strap (is that legal?!) and serious hardcore porn playing on the TVs in the background. I find the whole idea experimental for the US and strangely advanced. The place has silly decorations, moderately priced drinks and a small dive-club feeling.

Empty décor, Empty bar with only a C rating from the Health Dept. Is that after they fixed their problems?ewwwww The owner hates the bouncer especially when seating on the French chairs but yet does nothing about it. The owner should be happy not complaining about his own place. Go elsewhere for a good time. As far as all the fun decorations that other people liked. They are all gone now. No more unicorns etc. Now its just a plain old bar with a C from the health dept.

Fun dive gay bar that makes you feel like you stumbled down the rabbit hole with the decor and theme. Josh is one of the friendliest bartenders you'll meet and he remembers your drinks! Gets a bit trashy but in an ever sanitizing city, it can be a welcomed thing.
