Harbor Room

I went here tonight. There were no more than six people in the bar. I waited at least 20 minutes to be served. The bartender was too busy talking to his friends. I got tired of being ignored, and I just walked out..I advise others who come here, go elsewhere. It’s ridiculous to be completely ignored. The owner needs to talk to this bartender, and explain why he treats some customers like this?

Historic bar that welcomes all...open early and closes late is a historical ataple tavern in the Harbor District.

I went to the bar last September 2023 after my son had passed away. I had been up for almost 72 hours straight as I was staying by my son's bedside during his hospice and when he finally passed. I needed to put on a good buzz. They had no problem giving me strong drinks and as I always do, I give great tips. They were fine with that, until I fell asleep on their patio. The place was not busy at that time. I apologized to the owner and tried to explain what my situation was but he didn't care and told me to get out and not to come back again..... like I said; he had no problem taking my money...and he was the one who was extremely rude. As I was walking out the door he continued to yell and berate me and threaten me. Again...I was in a bad place at that time and he wouldn't even give me a chance to explain....especially since I was not bothering anyone. The female bartender was great.... the owner lacked any sense of class. It's to bad the owner had to be like that because the patrons as well as the female bartender at that time were very friendly. Just sayin

The bar is fine, it’s the service that was horrible. Rudest bar tender i’ve ever come across.

Went for a friend's birthday party. The atmosphere, the owners, everything was really nice.

Don’t come here unless u wanna be ignored they posted an event here and the bartender is the crypt keeper and will not acknowledge u. Save your money !

Been going to Harbor Room for years. Thanks for hair color I don't look it haha. Never had a issue with the bar or the bartenders, they have been great. I have know the owner for years. The patio is a great place if you want to soak up some sunshine, it will be better if summer gets here. The drinks are made well and the beer is perfect in the frosty mugs.
