I recently visited Pumpjack Pub and had an absolutely fabulous time! This place radiates a vibrant, inclusive energy that instantly makes you feel like part of the community. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was electric, with fantastic music and a crowd that knows how to have a good time. One of the standout features of Pumpjack Pub is their "Shower Power" events. These fun, steamy shows add a playful and sexy twist to the night, making the experience even more memorable. The performers are incredibly talented and know how to work the crowd, ensuring everyone has a great time. It's definitely a must-see and adds a unique flair to the pub. Pumpjack Pub also hosts a variety of other themed nights that add even more sparkle to the experience. Whether it’s karaoke or dance parties, there’s always something exciting happening. The vibe is always welcoming, making it a perfect spot for the LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together and celebrate. The staff at Pumpjack Pub are outstanding, providing top-notch service with a smile. They go out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome and has a fantastic time. It’s a fun bar let down some bar staff seem to dislike certain customers - in my case customers are middle aged, with a few $ and a penchant for cider! I prefer a bar person who just serves me what I ask for, without pointed comments or an attitude. Otherwise, it’s a comfortable, easy going bar that’s fun.

This is a staple in the gayborhood and a place that will always make you smile. The staff are super friendly (and hot) and the drinks are very reasonably priced. No foob but they let you bring food in from other places.

This place is great. Quiet pub by day and busy club-like atmosphere at night. Always a go to meet up spot with friends

Staff are friendly enough but the clientele are extremely rude and inclusive. Being a member of the LGBQT community I thought i would be welcomed, but not the case here, and I'm not the only one with the same complaint.

So couple of days ago I tried to take my girlfriend to pumpjack and the bartender Dill was like do you have a peiece of ID cause you look like 9, and looks at others to make sure he makes fun of her (she was short) then again makes the same joke and say that you look like actually five without smiling just trying to humiliate for no reason. Then she brings the ID, and politely ask for water and he be telling us rudely, give space for ""paying"" customers. I know many people that avoided comin to the bar because of him, hopefully somebody take an action soon. A day before I went with my friend and when he was leaving Dill gave him the wrong credit card, and my friend was pissed !

One time while I was having a beer here a bird flew in the door and landed on the dj equipment and started freaking out and laying eggs and doing bird stuff and honestly it’s one of my favourite Vancouver memories. Anyway it’s a great bar. Good music, great staff, and a lovely summertime patio.

Dance as if no one is watching . Large dance floor , good music , hot customers . . . . . . . . I wish you’ll get lucky . A place I’d love to go back .
