The only room the staff are actually nice is the happy hour bar. I was given a wristband in there and it later got taken off of me for literally no reason. I did nothing wrong, got forced to pay the cover after having already been there for hours, and then wasn't refunded when they were like "oops we weren't supposed to let you back in" a minute later. I was not told why I was being walked out, had literally just been talking to people like a normal person and not breaking any rules.

The drag show is amazing. However the security staff need to be trained in so many ways. They are extremely aggressive, especially with drunk people that are not doing anything more than standing or going to the bathroom. They won't hesitate in hitting you without reason. Drink prices tend to be higher compared to another clubs in the area. Also the place feels kinda old and dirty. First and last time I'll go there.

I used to love going to this place. It was a go to every time my friends and I wanted to go out. Now it’s always 50/50 every time we go there. The security guards are way too aggressive. I’ve heard them bust down doors on people ACTIVELY going to the bathroom. They don’t let you stand ANYWHERE and tell you to move even if you aren’t in the way of anybody. One time, my friend went to the bathroom to throw up, not even drunk enough to be thrown out or anything. The MALE security guard said “we see her throwing up, she’s gotta go”. We didn’t end up getting thrown out but I’ve had multiple situations like this. Pride was horrible. It was packed like sardines in there and you can’t even move anywhere. It’s not even a gay bar at all, because there’s always straights and teens there. If they changed some of these things, it would be fun.

Take your business to any of the other establishments in MN. The staff here is extremely rude. An employee, Chris, was “off the clock” and sitting at the bar drinking upstairs. Made rude comments to my friends about the drag queens and proceeded to make everyone uncomfortable around him. No adult should act this way, let alone an employee of the establishment. We bought him a drink and tried to be friendly, but his comments became even more offensive. We come to the club every other Sunday for the drag show and had never seen him before but take your business to lush or the drag brunches at Union/Crave for these lovely queens instead. No one that “works” at the 90s should bad mouth the queens. It was unfortunate that my friends stood up to him and got kicked out because of it. Hope the performers made their money from the other 5 people there to watch.

Security was honestly the best part of my experience with this place. Drinks were heavily watered down and overpriced and the floors everywhere but the hallway were so sticky that it kept pulling my shoes off. Don't bother going during pride month it smelled worse than a magic the gathering convention.

My female friend and i got our entire bodies felt up at security. Very odd… my black friend didn’t even get checked. He walked in, they looked at him, said “nope” and threw us out. We thought the one safe space we could have would be gay 90s of all places

It seemed that only straight people are the ones coming here. The music was outdated and boring, and drink prices were outrageous. It only gets stars in my opinion because of the drag show which was pretty good.
