I have performed and been to this venue sooo many times! It's a great spot and it's so important for the+ community to have a safe space. They have a large green room for performers, and a great little stage as well. They often have great drag and burlesque events and I love all the staff and guests there.

After a breakdown in communication the owner and I were able to get in touch and discuss a ban on a inappropriate patron. It was clear to me safety was important so I can recommend this bar again which brings me joy as it's my favorite place for weekends. The atmosphere is nice and often very friendly I've had bartenders help me with drink selections when I clearly had no idea what I was talking about and the music is almost always perfect. I look forward to coming for the Halloween event and drag shows when I can.

I love EVO! When I lost my glasses during the last foam night not only was the staff super helpful and caring, but I had other EVO goers be super helpful and actually get the staff for me! One of the staff members gave me their number so I was able to get into contact with them about my glasses and they sent me a photo of them! If you DM the club on instagram as well they’ll most likely respond! It was awesome to have people care about me not having my sight

Always a fun time at Evo! You always feel safe dancing here and getting drinks. No one harasses you. Everyone is super nice and the staff are the sweetest people in the world! Don't go to Church of John. Come here instead! Plus, drag shows are always happening and there is a cage to dance in which is so much fun!

Great place love it but had to leave. Because the pain I was in, from how loud the music was even with earplugs. I feel it might not be sensory friendly for people with sensory issues. I can handle loud but this was different I couldn't even escape. Please fix and I hope to come back soon.

interVivos held “A Provincial Affair 2019” at Evolution Wonderlounge on April 2, 2019. In true support of civic engagement, the owners graciously donated their beautiful space for our event. Located in the heart of Edmonton, Evolution Wonderlounge was a recognizable name that excited many of our attendees. It was accessible by transit, with free, nearby street parking available after 6. Our event was in a speed networking style, and the large space allowed for 100 people to freely move from their tables, to the bar to get food and drinks, and to mingle. The neon lights and eccentric artwork on the walls and tables provided a welcomed change of board rooms and conference rooms for interVivos. There was also enough seating for a large number of guests, which is great for groups that plan on having a lot of attendees. The large stage was also fantastic for the many photo-ops of the speakers and the volunteers. The staff was friendly and accommodating during the planning stages. We hope to work with Evo and their staff again sometime in the future!

Really wanted a taste of LGBTQ in Canada as I'm from California, USA & had a blast! The zebra was my favorite. I'm hearing impaired so I couldn't pick up names very well, but tbe zebra came in the crowd & interacted with the crowd so it made my lil shy heart happy. The drinks being bland were my only meh, but the bartender was nice enough ti look at the menu I keep from my usual lesbian bar at home ✨️

Really chill place; very communal gay bar, friendly and welcoming. Fun times.
