Last Call Bar

Funny I have been living for some time in SF and never stepped inside the Last Call. Luckily I didn't wait until the last call to give this place a try. I love the fact that it's low key, no drama. Great selection of top shelf spirits and many brands which you typically don't get to see in other bars. In addition, very knowledgeable bartenders who know and love their craft. Four thumbs up, oops I see double, two thumbs up.

Not my favorite place to visit generally, however, it can be a fun spot to end your evening of bar hopping in the Castro. It's small and dark but the crowd is usually nice. More bar stools are needed. Just a gentle reminder to the patrons: DO NOT PARK YOURSELF IN THE WELL!!!! The restroom here is extremely tiny, not that you need a super large restroom but, airplane restrooms offer more space.

The cocktails here are top-notch! (A rarity for the Castro.) Make sure to try one of the cocktails off of the menu on the chalkboard at the center of the bar. Sometimes it’s so busy that you can barely find standing room, which can still be fun, but for the peak experience, come at a slow time when there are seats at the bar. My only complaint is that sometimes they’re running one bartender when they should be running two. Overall: a hidden gem.

Who needs Grindr, Scruff, Growlr, etc when you have a bar where everyone is approachable? Jonathan, the bartender, is amazing. He’s cute too. I don’t think they serve food which is why I left that part above.

Fun bar with a great ambiance in the Castro. It's an everybody bar where, no matter who you are, you can have a great time. The bartenders are lovely. The owners are super nice.

The best bar I have been to in quite some time! A unique take on many classic cocktails, plus a great beer selection. The ambiance is fantastic.
