Burgundy Room

Cara the bartender is amazing at her job and suggests fun things to do in LA. We are new in the city. She is the spirit of the bar; fun, awesome, and charismatic. My husband and I loved our experience here.

Friend and i were looking for a place to go on a rainy saturday night where we walked in and out of about 5 other bars before this one! 🙂 a booth emptied up soon after we got our drinks it was perfect. super nice atmosphere, very friendly service. Will be back! Thank you so much!!!

I hope management sees this, its specifically for Taylor. She was absolutely wonderful. Amazing customer service, very fast, clean, and kind. She kept her cool with multiple rude customers, remembered our names and our drinks, and was very accommodating. The place is great too, it's dark and cozy and if you can get a booth (careful with the step up!!) You are golden! They played great music too. Would absolutely come back 🙂

good spot. great music. my friend and i liked the decorations a lot. there was only 1 bartender but there wasn’t a wait on getting drinks. she was cool. i will say that the drinks were more expensive than we thought. we walked over from another bar right before coming here which had cheaper drinks. that’s the only reason we’re likely not going to be coming a lot but would definitely show someone visiting this cool spot!!

Found this place a few years ago on New Years Eve after driving down from the bay area with some friends, we came back for 3 straight NYEs. Now writing on Dec 31, 2020, we're hopeful the Burgundy room powers through this pandemic and we'll be able to return for another New Years Eve. Best of luck guys.

If you need to read a review to decide if you should go here it may not be the place for you. It's a dive bar with a lot of rock n roll types as customers. Everyone is super friendly and the drinks are good. Since Loaded closed down this has become one of the major hang outs of the rock scene in Hollywood. If you like rock music you should be there drinking Jack and beers....get going!

I live in New York and have spent many hours in dive bars in the east village and alphabet city. I love Burgundy Room. If you go right when they open, you have the bar nearly to yourself for a while. The playlist has been excellent and sets the right kind of dive-bar mood. Bartenders have always been just the right amount of standoffish for me.

For a Wednesday night this place was the place to be. Drinks were very good. The atmosphere was great!
