True North Tavern

Cool spot to hangout and watch sports. Their happy hour is great as well. Has a big variety of food for a fair price and it’s everyday which is nice. Back order on all the HH beer though so ask what is available. Had come to watch the fights, took about an hour to get them on tv. It was difficult to get our waitress to come to the table and order drinks. When I asked who I thought was our waitress to get another drink and close out the bill, there was a different waitress responsible for our table. Whole encounter was just really odd and put a dent in the experience.

We had a wonderful time at True North! Our server, Nico, was absolutely fabulous!! He was extremely attentive and kind. Very fair prices as well! Our dog was welcomed with open arms and even offered a water bowl. It is a great place to watch the game. We will certainly be back again soon!

Went here for my wife’s birthday. Super nice place, and the ambiance is amazing. I had the the Milanese and my wife had a burger. I couldn’t drink at the time, but she could and she loved the happy hour drinks. They have these tents you can hang out in the back and we plan on coming here with a large group next time. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that’s looking for amazing food and great vibes.

It was my first time in this bar . And I would definitely not come back and definitely not recommend this bar. They let in guys that hit women at this bar. And they dont do anything about it. Is really dangerous and not secure at all if you are a woman or part of the lgtbq community. Don't go there. Be careful if you see this guy in that bar. He hit women.

Service on a Saturday was very weak, 1 person behind the bar servicing a full house. 1 person running food, bar lady wasn’t happy to be at work. Great potential but disappointed with overall service and attitude

Tasty sandwich and fries at a good price; great cold drafts selection; terrific, attentive staff all around. Great place to watch a game too.

Great time for food, drinks, and atmosphere for sports or night club life. I've goin here since 2018. Would recommend for anybody newcomer to San Diego or someone that lives here and never been.

Meet a long time friend here for a quick linch. The burger was amazing and the tater tots added something different than the usual fries. Not sure if this place is still a club after hours but it used to be a pretty cool spot back in the day to hang out. Drinks, ladies and good times.
