Awesome bar in downtown San Rafael. We’ve been coming here since they just opened and we always felt amazed by all their drinks! Wonderful choices of cocktail, incredible list of beers on tab and their hot drinks are super tasty, too! The vibe and decor are very nice also. The staff is very friendly.

Three of our drinks were amazing and the other two very good. Impressive beer list although we stuck to cocktails. The bartenders were fast and friendly and obviously highly skilled. The ambience can’t be beat with a classic California aesthetic and fun music played at a reasonable level. Loved the place and can hardly wait to make it back.

Love this bar! A little slice of the city in sleepy San Rafael, you can always count on it being busy late night unlike the rest of the town. Their cocktails are amazing, of course, but I also really appreciate their awesome beer list. They also pour a perfect Guinness which is often my go-to when I want to keep hanging out but can't do much more alcohol. Love Cali Gold!

We came for golden hour which was $9 cocktails and $1 off some beers. Service was great! Friendly and attentive staff was just what we were looking for. The decor is great, the bar stands out more than the photos do justice. The booths are nice too, have that old school vibe. Good place for date night as you can have some privacy in the booth and it's not noisy. The food is from across the street at Revel and Roost. Hope to make this our regular place!

Had a sazsrack, which I can say was expertly made with care and detail. The drink menu is exceptional though a bit eclectic, which I love. *Update* came back after a couple years and the place is as good as ever. I ordered a La Paloma and a pisco punch. Both were superbly made absolutely delicious. My only issue was that it was so busy at the time I entered, there was only one bartender serving a slew of people and it took a really long time to get to me. The problems of a really good place.
