Bartender Megan is a KILLER behind the bar. John Taffer himself would say this bar runs on Megan. She made the best drinks and she was working the whole night without a break compared to her other coworkers. She knows a good cocktail and made sure to straw test every drink we ordered. Every bar needs more Megan!

Music isn’t too loud, always playing bops, good drinks, happy hour till 8, and really great service. When my friend knocked over her drink half way through, she got a refresh on the house immediately. Super kind! And chill with my service animal.

The vibes were v cute, v queer, v accessible, in all the ways, except one very important one— this is a queer bar, without any gender neutral bathrooms. It was pretty confusing and upsetting, because what year is it? Also, only the “W” bathroom appeared to be accessible for people with disabilities. Do better, it’s not *that* hard.

Drinks were delicious. Got the down the rabbit hole and the newton. Dog friendly. Nice bartenders

What a fun little cocktail bar that we happened upon while wondering around from out of town. The Root of All Evil was delicious, and Amar was SUPER friendly & helpful. The place felt super inclusive and welcoming. Bonus points for all the excellent independent art on the walls.

We went to this bar for a business mixer. The atmosphere is incredible. The staff is super friendly. The drinks were spot on. We will definitely go back!

At Blackbird you get ambiance and lowkey supremely-talented drink makers. Drop by for the house old-fashioned at a yes-another price, or go the distance with your bartender and sip on something elevated and improvised. Fun place in a good part of Market. Enjoy.

This bar is moody as hell. Feels like I’m walking into a tavern that Gandalf would be chilling in the back. Ordered a Pisco Sour, the egg white part was the “foamy not good version”, but appreciated it. Normal S.F. bar prices. Not the easiest place to converse. Water containers filled with water and cups to grab, we love to see it.
