The Capital Room

Went for the first time with a small group of friends last night for a round of drinks after dinner. They currently have a special cocktail menu for spooky season on fun menus! The decor was also superb! They made us a round of specialty shots as well, that we all enjoyed and were a great price. The servers were all really warm, welcoming, and just all great! Not to mention, they don’t have bottles of alcohol that you can just get from anywhere, but they support women owned businesses which is nice touch! They also host events there-every Saturday night in October they have an EDM DJ come out where the DJ is set up in the back of the space. Also, the bathrooms are really nice Will definitely be back for more!

Perfect Bar Service. Perfect. “Taz” forgive me if name is wrong is a true professional. Knowledgeable, polite and attentive. We will be regulars here now. Great ambiance (although some light music would make it better) tastefully done and very relaxing and enjoyable. A great addition to downtown. Hopefully a future institution in Sanford. Love it!

The Capitol Room was our 2nd stop on my birthday bar hop and it didn't disappoint. The owner assisted in setting up a group table for us and took care of our orders. Drinks were good and reasonably priced.

Definitely Has Potential! We're looking forward to their grand opening. They have some interesting takes on cocktails - Bartenders are still working some things out, to be expected during soft openings. Overall the drinks were tasty. Cool venue - Feels like they're going to market themselves as a late night spot with a DJ and dancing in the future.

Service was a little slow but they were pretty busy. Cocktails were all great but definitely on the pricey side. Nice spot to go for a once in awhile treat.

My absolute favorite bar in Sanford. The barstaff is phenomenal and the owner is such a delight to talk to every time I come in. The drinks are fabulous and so well crafted.

We happened to come across this place accidentally while walking around Downtown Sanford. We loved the concept and the bartenders were extremely friendly and helpful. The bartenders put a lot into making their drink menu. This is probably one of our new favorite spots. We ordered The Cartel Experience, The Industrialist, and The Conservative Lady.

We have tested out the Capital Room several times since they have opened within the last couple of months. The drinks here are ALWAYS fabulous. They have a solid base menu with a new seasonal menu every month or so. The atmosphere is perfect and laid back. The place is exceptionally-well decorated for Christmas now, too! This is really a hidden gem of Sandord - it's not the place to come in for a beer on tap when you're in a rush, but a place to hang out, chat with Alan or one of the other hilarious bartenders, and enjoy every drop of your tasty drink. I highly recommend them!
