Someone suggested this bar and to my surprise, I saw my first Live Drag Show. I have enjoyed the British film Kinky Boots, back in 2005. The Gay Parade in Manhattan was jaw dropping. I have seen men dressed in gowns, wigs, makeup, jewelry... But must of all, they focus and willed themselves to feel and be absolutely femenine. The walk, the movement is jaw dropping. 801 Bourbon Bar has a cast of performers that express humor, strong emotions, and femenine sex appeal. Vhuntermassage LLC

Absolutely loved our time here. Alvin was such an amazing bartender! He has fun with all guests and never stops dancing! Recommend the Key Lime Martini.

We happened upon this place while exploring Duval St. Wife was set on checking out and we were both glad we did. Very talented performers, striking a nice balance of humor, professionalism, and artistry at the show!

Watched our first live Drag show, and it was a lot of fun! Will definitely make sure to grab some cash next time... Didn't stay long at the bar but the music was good.

Amazing place! Alvin has so much positive energy and made everyone feel welcome, honestly the perfect bartender! Always checking in on us, offered recommendations and made sure we were always taken care of. Can’t recommend Alvin enough, I wish every bar has an Alvin! I had so much fun here and the drinks were fantastic!

Vaida, Chris and Josh! Wow! Vaida always with a smile and great service. I'm always hoping she's working. Conversation and helps everyone with laughter and love. Chris keeps me sane with great knowledge, unique cocktails and experience and Josh is pretty .... and is on point as a bartender, very attentive. Service is so much fun, quick and what great music on the weekends. Honestly, as a local, I make it a point to go in here just because of them. Best gay and straight and couples fun in town! The back is for experienced adults and men only on weekends. Upstairs drag show is fun and entertaining. My favorite is Michael (Erika Rose)! A must stop in key west for a smile. Love love love! Best night out I have had in a while! My husband and I went to the 9pm show and it was a blast! Marilynn, Kiley, Renee Marie, and Puddin Tain were fabulous. The performances were top notch and the crowd, drinks, and vibes were immaculate. Highly recommend!!
