Hideaway Bar

The "Dive Bar" Hideaway is no more.. With a new nice location, means new higher prices! Wing special is now 16, instead of 12. (without fries), double captain is now 15 instead of 10..and hopefully your ranch is filled up! An extra dollar for ranch and some of containers are barely filled up all the way. It's not bad spot at all, but the dive bar vibes and prices are long gone. Seems like they have more people in than before which is good, but if you have lighter pockets this is no longer the spot for you. It was fun while it lasted.

Wife and I came in on a Thursday around 0400pm. Needed to burn a few hours. Parking is in the back. It can be fairly easy to miss, so hideaway is a great name. Inside has a small bar, restrooms, and a pool table. Most of the seating is outdoors (covered) in the back and front. Had a few miller lites ($4) and we ordered fried pickles and chicken tenders. Pickles were super hot and crispy. The tenders were big and corn flake battered. Good vibes outside. Crowd felt like mostly locals that knew each other. Reminds me of a bar from up north smashed with a beach bar. Staff were friendly if you needed anything. Attentive but not pushy to sell or upcharge. We got new drinks when needed, but never felt rushed or unwanted. We were looking for somewhere to burn some time and enjoy the weather and we found it. Fun casual dive. Honestly, wish we lived a bit closer.

Fran was absolutely amazing. She made me feel like I was at home in a bar I wasn’t familiar with. Gave great drink and food recommendations and I love it’s a Miami bar as well, FINS UP!

I got the BBQ 10 piece wings on my lunch break. They were hot and had good flavor. I didn't stay long, but the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. It is a small place which is fine, but I could hear everyone's conversations because they were screaming so much. Obviously it's going to be loud since it's a bar, but I still think it was too much. Especially at 12:30 in the afternoon on a Thursday. The other issue with the location is the complete lack of parking. They have a tiny parking lot on site and no immediate street parking.The bartender was attentive and friendly.

I'm a regular at The Hideaway but I think I will be changing my allegiance. I ordered wings with ranch, as I usually do. The ranch is served in a plastic cup of a couple ounces. I asked for additional ranch and got another couple ounces and was charged for the additional condiment. They don't charge for shaking the salt shaker or for squeezing the ketchup a second time so why would you charge for more ranch dressing? It's not the $1.00 charge, it's the principle of "sneaking" in additional charges! The neighborhood bar is changing!!

Cool dive bar. Very friendly staff cool vibe inside. Lots of TVs for sports fans. Had the buffalo wings which were awesome. Only drawback no parking. Have to park on side streets. Bloody Marys are. Ok. Won’t brag about them. Come check it out. Plenty of seating in and out.

Local dive bar but not in a bad way.. I love their prices and their food options are really good. They keep it fresh with a few craft beers here and there with the option of hard liquor drinks.. They open up early which is really nice for the third shift people. This is a perfect location to stop and grab a bite to eat and head to other breweries or other places as well up and down the main road or just to hang out there for the rest of the evening and enjoy the locals and very well priced drinks.

Awesome wings! And I'm picky about my wings... We sat outside so we could bring the dog and it is a nice patio. The restrooms were nice and the waiters were friendly. We will come back.
