My only wish is that they had prices listed somewhere. There was no way of telling how much a bottle of wine or case of beer was. Otherwise this place has an incredibly impressive variety of alcoholic beverages. The tables looked clean and like a decent place to hangout. Staff seemed friendly, although they weren’t very helpful. Which is fine, but when there’s no prices listed anywhere it’s not efficient or inviting.

I looooove Bearded Monk! Constantly rotating taps of solid local beers. Great hangout spot with free (but not dive-bar level) darts. They also have events and comedy shows from time to time. Check it out!

If you’re in Denton and want to snag some beers to go, please check out The Bearded Monk. Ben and his team of Beertenders enjoy and sell beer. You can find some of the latest beers as well as some nostalgic beers you don’t always see in the big box stores. The space seems small on the outside you would expect an antique quaint shop. Then you go in and see an impressive tap wall of crushable beer, rows of beers to purchase, and a cold case. The Bearded Monk has a quirky and lovable attitude and vibe that you want to stay all day. By 5 p.m., scrolling and enjoying my beer, I think I should have been gone a long time ago. SMH. It was so peaceful sitting at a table. If I had my book I would have been in complete bliss! You can bring food from the nearby food Truck or that amazing Mexican restaurant around the corner. I don’t get to Denton that often but when I do; The Bearded Monk is on the list.

This is the spot if you want a good beer, to chill with friends, and have a conversation. The staff are out of this world, the environment is so friendly and inviting, and the events are always a good time! And their non-alcoholic selection is AMAZING too!!

Wine is part of the menu. Interesting selection of souvenirs for you to take home (from beer bottle lamps to their signature beers of the season and wines from around the world). A well known location in Denton, this pub has a great selections of drinking beers and wines for you. Cider too! Some of the items might me seasonal but you can get most of their drinks on their souvenirs. No food to order here. If you want to smoke, you can exit to their back alley with drink on hand with no problem. Pets must be kept outside. You can bring your family here to enjoy a great drink and have a taste of Denton. It is worth the stop definitely.

came here on my drive from Colorado to Dallas because one of my best friends that lived in the area loved this place. Ben was so freaking nice and helpful, super cheerful too! The inside is super cool and the beer selection to go was great. A lot of options on tap and prices are super reasonable. I was so excited that I forgot to tip him and I feel like an a-hole. Sorry ben def check this place out!!!

Unique find in the heart of Denton, TX. Great atmosphere, fabulous beer selection and a chilled out vibe. Went on a Tuesday night and an amazing live jazz band was playing. This is a great place to unwind.
