Stan's Blue Note

This is a great sports bar. Atmosphere is younger college crowd but all is welcome. The owner even makes the rounds and makes sure everyone is having fun! I will definitely be back. And it’s a perfect place to watch the game!

This is one of the coolest places in Dallas, no, Texas! It's the epitome of a dive bar, but the food is awesome, and there is an incredible selection of beers on tap. TVs are everywhere, and they're very accommodating on finding what you want to watch. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot. I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

Was here on a random Tuesday with a group. They have $3 burgers that day and it was good. Like how they have random deals. Its pretty open space also

I don’t usually post about service. But Nikki’s(hope I’m spelling that right) service was through the roof. Food was good for bar food. Nice sports bar vibes. But because of her service I will be returning to this establishment. Even my wife was bragging about the service is which is rare.

Honestly, this place makes me sad. Stan’s used to be one of my favorite bars in Dallas, and now the service is ridiculously bad. The past several times I’ve come have been on a weekday, when the crowd is small. Tonight specifically, there are 7 patrons in the building. Ordered a couple drinks and a cheeseburger with fries. The bartender was rude and seemed to not be listening to a word we were saying, and kept disappearing for 5-10 mins at a time. She gave us the two shots we asked for, but not the beer. She walked away, then a couple minutes later said “what beer did you want?” After the food came out, we got a burger with no cheese and no fries. Took a few mins for her to come back around so we could tell her the order was wrong. She brought back the burger with cheese but still no fries. We ate the burger, and then when we finally got her attention again we asked to close out. After asking twice, she came back to us and said “what did you need?”, then we asked for the check and left. Look, I used to love this place. But in the past year, the service has gotten so bad that I don’t want to come back. Please fix it!!! Maybe hire some bartenders that want to be there and make money.

Stan’s Blue Note is the rare entertainment dive bar that gets a flat out five star rating. Staff was truly wonderful, welcoming, kind, and hilarious. The prices were reasonable. The AC was kicking and it was very comfortable. They had plenty of bar games, shuffleboard, and a lot of space to spread out. Both front and back patios were comfortable.

I've been to Stan’s twice.  The first time mid-week just as they opened. Actually, I wandered in a few minutes before the official opening time and the bartender, Ericka, generously allowed me to hang out. She was gracious, friendly and efficient.  Besides Ericka I was mostly impressed by the size of the bar, the vast selection of beers on tap, and the mellow vibe. The second time I went was on a Sunday early afternoon. I was a bit concerned about finding a seat at the bar because of football but I was surprised to find only about a dozen folks inside.  I ordered the bean and cheese nachos - only 5$! - and they were very good. As was my Deep Ellum IPA mmm. The male bartender spent quite a bit of time talking to his girlfriend, who occupied a seat by herself at the end of the bar. This could be a great bar but on my two visits it isn't quite there yet.

Great bar to watch whatever game you are interested in. Good vibe and ice cold beers. Good variety on tap as well.
