Such a good Austin dive bar! I love the vibe, be warned all the servers are really bad and very salty and with the exception of Hunter who is incredible, and honestly cares about the service you get! if he is there make sure you’re in his section and you’ll have a great time and enjoy his hospitality! Super regular here fyi!

Big, bustling pub with extensive menu of both food and drinks. On a fall Sunday afternoon it is full of shouting football fans and drink specials on mimosas, bloody Mary's, and sangria. The black sheep chili is consistently delicious, if over a Frito pie, hot dog, burger, or by itself. They have a couple parking spaces in front, more in back, and on nearby streets.

I was recommended to try the chicken bacon sandwich, but I opted for a hot dog instead. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. If you’re a hot dog fan, it’s worth a try if you’re in the area. However, I wouldn’t make a special trip just for the hot dogs, though other items on the menu might be more enticing. The atmosphere is lively and a bit loud, with a bustling vibe that feels more like nighttime even during the day. The restaurant offers a few games to play, which adds a fun element to the experience. There’s also plenty of seating, making it a great place to relax and enjoy either your afternoon or evening.

I have passed this place so many times and finally stopped by and wow! It did not disappoint! Atmosphere is off the chain good and Christian at the bar was absolutely magnificent ❤️. Try the grilled chicken salad with bacon and avocado! It's perfect.

The food is pretty good. I ate an hamburger which was amazing. The only negative point was a person smoking below the signal of “non smoking environment”. There was a wind and the smoke was traveling to the table where I was.

Black sheep Lodge. Definitely a five-star spot. Local neighborhood bar, friendly folks, a good hang spot. Food: Everything is good, not cheap or expensive. Definitely worth eating. Everything is good. Drinks: A variety of draft beers, they also have a lot of local beers which is really nice. Try the Lazarus 40 days and 40 nights IPA. Perfectly balanced IPA. Atmosphere: If it's nice, sit out on the covered patio, get a nice view of Lamar. Inside is dark and pretty normal, nothing fancy about it but it's not trying to be, all good.

Second time here, my goodness the food is still amazing! It’s a dive bar with great food, great alcohol selections, great prices, TVs everywhere to watch sports, outdoor covered seating with TVs outside, pool tables, darts, and great service. Came here with my friends. You have to try the Nashville Dry Rub on your chicken. It has a nice kick, and the honey brings in a nice sweetness. Onion Rings are really crispy. The wings are crispy and perfectly sauced. Fries were great too! They loved it here as well. This is a MUST visit.

We walked in last night and I was immediately greeted by Sean throwing compliments to my jersey. Once we sat down it just so happened that he was our server as well. Sean was extremely friendly and helpful. Recommend great food, modifications to the food, and gave us great conversation. We started with cheese curds and Sean recommended throw some different spices on there. I got the chicken wings and they were huge. Perfect crisp to it. My girlfriend got a Chicago dog and that was tasty. We ordered a side of cheese fries and I was not expecting them to be that big of a portion. Overall great experience. Would definitely stop by again.
