My favorite place to visit when I’m in town. Always a great vibe and Mel makes the best drinks. Shes an angel and so are the rest of the staff. A must visit in Austin without a doubt!

My new favorite dive bar. Drink and food specials Monday thru Wednesday and a very well stocked record bar on the inside. I highly recommend ordering their "off menu" wings as well. Cheers !

A hidden gem about to be 8 years in existence. All kinds of people in there so any newbies visiting do not screw up this vibe. Has a record store inside the bar definitely hard not to walk out without a record. The bartenders were awesome!!!

This place’s aesthetic is really cool, tall leather booths, funky chandeliers, pool tables and an awesome outdoor area. The bartender was super friendly to everyone and had interesting conversation. I had the frozen cherry limeade and it was great, the loaded cheese fries though…those were absolutely incredible. I usually shy away from cheese fries because of how soggy they can get but my fries were so crispy, had a bomb queso on it with bacon and jalapeños. Their front patio is a good size, with a few fans blowing and turf instead of concrete which was a nice change. I love being on the East Side more these days and I would definitely add this to my list of go-to places!

Highly recommend. We visited this place many times during our week long visit to Austin and it became our second home. Very friendly staff, provided great recommendations for visits. Free pool, cool vibe, relaxed people. Try the Tot-chos, they were delicious.

This is such an excellent spot with even more incredible people. I love the location and the chill vibes; the record store is the icing on the cake!

Super cool bar with the best food, drinks, and bartenders. Don’t leave there without some vinyl. We love Mel!

Staff, or it was probably even management, who made it seem like I wasn't wanted at this establishment. I'm not sure what I did, or even if I did anything to rub anyone the wrong way. All I was there for was to pick up the food items I ordered. Maybe this spot is not for everyone ‍♂️ Personally, this place seems to be phony, and their trying too hard to create a certain type of atmosphere that they themselves don't even truly come from. I'm pretty sure back in the days, it was a true to its core establishment for all kinds of music lovers and chill people... but not today. You're not missing anything special from this place. Unless you're one of they regulars In all honesty, there are so many, many, many other cool, chill, and fun atmosphere places in Austin to experience that Austin vibe that one can frequent besides this place
