Our waitress was friendly and provided great customer service. The Lone Star Burger had a great flavor, and I appreciated the variety of cheese options available. While the potato wedges were a bit cold, they were well-seasoned and overall enjoyable. Although I didn’t order a drink, it’s nice to know they have a full bar available.

The wagyu beef burgers are good. The fries were crispy and seasoned well. The Mexican sunrise drink I had was okay. The service was a bit slow but overall, it was decent.

I've been here many times before and have never been disappointed with the food...until today. I ordered a cheese burger and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes...no problem... but the burger I got was not fresh and hot...it obviously had been prepared long before I ordered it...the bun was hard and cold...burger patty was dried out and lukewarm and it was served with onion and tomato "hunks" not slices...and my fries were old and cold...Come on Mudhook I know you can do better.

Terrible cooking staff. My friend ordered two different flavored wings they gave her all one flavor, when she sent it back they fixed it by literally washing off the first flavor and added the second flavor and sent her back out wet wings. The drinks weren’t real liquor my tequila was cloudy not clear and management did nothing to accommodate the terrible service we received.

Ordered take-out & it was all great. Garlic parm fries, pork belly bites, lonestar burger, best burger & more, we enjoyed it all. The burgers were juicy, cooked perfectly & the order was accurate (which doesn't happen often anymore), I liked the way they package the to-go orders. I wish more places wld use similar packaging. The prices are a bit high but I don't mind paying a lil more for good food, safely prepared & properly packaged with friendly customer service. Small but quant bar & grill.

It’s a cool hole in the wall type of place that had some very good burgers! I was impressed with the service tone it took since I only had a 30 minute lunch and wanted good food without the risk of making me wait. The burger was excellent, juicy and delicious, the fries were fresh and seasoned well. My only complaint was the cost of the drink. I had a single shot mixed drink of crown apple and redbull and the charged me individually for each component of my mixed drink which totaled it out to 13$. Considering it was a weekday during lunchtime hours I thought they’d be some sort of special they’d offer to drive up business, I spend about 8-11$ a round in Deep Ellum during the weekends and half that during the weekdays so being hit with that in broad daylight hurt abit. I really like this place but wouldn’t make this a regular place for drinks unless I come here with a group and money wasn’t an issue. I did like the jukebox they had! Not perfect but it’s a solid choice for the area

This was my first time getting food from Mudhook. I tried ordering online but it kept acting up. So I ran inside and ordered. My food was ready in 10 minutes and the gentleman who took my order actually brought it to my car. I was going to run back in to get it. But he was nice enough to bring it to me. The food was outstanding and everything tasted so fresh and perfect amount of seasoning.

Mixed feelings about this place: some great points and some bad ones. The service was minimal bc the waitress was always busy trying to serve and at the same time make cocktails (not lazy or standing somewhere, but really busy), so no time to refill water or anything for the tables. Same mixed situation with the burgers: the bacon was actually well made, crispy and plentifull (awesome)!; but the cheese they placed on burgers was more of a "congealed mass" warmed up mess which ruined the burgers for me. The good part is that they have unlimited $14/person mimosa (champagne and orange juice!) Where else do you see unlimited alcohol in the US?
