JJ's Restaurant & Sports Bar

I am so glad someone suggested this restaurant to us today! We have been on a week long road trip all the way to Texas and now heading back towards home trying new local restaurants along the way and this one is definitely at the top of the list!!! The service was great! Thanks Kamrynfor taking care of us! We had the pork chop platter and it was a gracious portion. The.pork chop was fried to perfection, mashed potatoes seasoned just right and the Mac and cheese hit the spot!! This is definitely a return to place for me.

Just passing through. I saw the reviews and this place has delicious food. Very good service and atmosphere. I had the best ever Ruben, my husband had the meatloaf platter, one of my granddaughters had chicken parmesan the flavor was so good. My other granddaughter had the quarterpounder with cheese and pickles. Our server Chelsea was awesome. If ever we come this way again we will definitely stop buy. 4 happy eaters.

We have been getting meals from here for years. If you haven’t tried the nachos and the penne Alfredo pasta, they are a must at this place. Service and food are always top of the line. You won’t leave disappointed.

We traveled to Abington to the barter theater to see a play. A local person told us of this restaurant. We were very pleased with everything. The food and service were excellent. My wife had a turkey and bacon sub. I had a country fried steak covered with mushrooms gravy and onions with mashed potatoes and broccoli. We both had side salads. We enjoyed the whole meal.

When no other restaurant we called in Abingdon would take a reservation for 20 for a Tuesday afternoon, JJ's owner promised to accommodate us - although technically they don't do reservations. I wasn't really thinking "sports bar and grill" was appropriate for a post graveside reception, but it was about our only option. Our service was prompt, our food was delicious. The menu has a very wide variety to suit old and young alike. You have a new fan, JJ's! I hope someone enjoyed the flowers we left. We meant to take them home and give them to our guests, but just forgot in the shuffle! Blue Door Farms did a fine job on the fresh arrangements. We appreciate all of you, since most of us had traveled from outside the area.

Delicious home cooked food served at a great price with a smile! What more could you ask for? I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they are wonderful people. You can tell they genuinely care about their staff and their customers. 20/10 would recommend ❤️ Get the pulled pork nachos!!

Came to the area for a family trip. Saw the good reviews and decided it was worth the try. Was skeptical at first bc it is definitely more of a bar crowd then a dinner crowd. Food was delicious and great service. All of us loved the food. I ordered the pork loin sandwich and it was awesome!
