Olde Towne Social House

We had an engagement party here recently and everyone could not stop talking about this place! Not only is it beautifully decorated, but the food was amazing. This event space was perfect for our wino Bride and celebrating them in our hometown. I was very happy with the communication throughout the process from the time of booking the event to leaving the event that night. Lauren and the other staff were so accommodating to our specific needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We hosted our 10-year HS reunion at Alley Cat, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect! This spot is hands down the coziest, most charming place in town. From the second we walked in, we knew we picked the right venue. The food was amazing, and there was plenty of champagne to keep the celebration going. The staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond to help us out, even with putting up decorations and giving me creative ideas! The whole night just felt magical, and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. If you're looking for a place that’s full of warmth and good vibes, Alley Cat is the one! Special shoutout to Lauren for making it all happen! 🙂

This place is like something from a bygone era. It’s like an old-fashioned club: comfy high-backed chairs, lots of little alcoves for enjoying a quiet night out with friends and family. Great atmosphere, nice music on weekends, delicious small plates, good wine.

We went as a family for the first time. The atmosphere was great if you are only there to socialize with friends. We weren't told exactly how to order so we waited for some one to come to us, which didn't happen often. We had planned on ordering food but decided we would have to wait forever looking at the way things were going, so we went elsewhere for food.

Wonderful concept wine bar! Love it! Great place to just chill out for the afternoon or evening and enjoy great wines from all over. Love that they have curated Sonoma Valley wines in their collection and French BDXs, enjoyed a long leisurely couple of bottles with friends, along with some tasty small plates! Then enjoyed selections from the wine shop from Italy and CA at very reasonable cost points. Definitely recommended! Being from California originally we were spoiled with being surrounded by fantastic wineries, tasting rooms, etc. So we can be a bit selective in our taste, that being the case though, I’m sure we will be regular visitors to this great venue! Great little place in Rocky Mount! Attended my class reunion but if they run things there like they did for the event then you’re in good hands no matter who you are.

Thoroughly enjoyed our class reunion that was hosted by the Alley Cat (downstairs). Make sure you try a schillint pineapple, it was amazing!

My friends and I LOVE this place!! Such a great atmosphere for catching up on the details of each other's lives while relaxing with a glass of wine! The food is great and the dessert is out of this world! The addition of their "pub," the Alley Cat, which is located downstairs, is an added bonus! It has a totally different vibe from upstairs, offering a large selection of craft beer, delicious food, and music. Trust me about this place!! It is well worth a visit! Also... check out the fun gift shop!! Something for everyone!!
