The duck island club is probably one of the best bars I've ever been in, let alone been in Cleveland. Andy the owner and proprietor of the bar is the fantastic person with a great skill of making mixed drinks, especially his Old fashioned, and a Manhattan. I am definitely going to be back to this bar again, as many times as possible.

This is a nice local bar with a Speakeasy feel. The location has a rich history of one of the oldest bars in the area that was in operation during prohibition. It is said that during the 1920s this Bar was investigated by law enforcement looking for signs of alcohol. Apparently, law enforcement searched the building and we're not able to find anything until one of the officers became thirsty and decided to get a glass of water. The officer discovered that it wasn't water coming out of the tap but a stream of whiskey. This location has changed ownership a few times and is currently under new ownership where the owner is trying to bring back some of the rich history of the bar. The staff is friendly, the inside is fairly clean with a few items that need a little attention, but overall not too bad. There is a small and cozy typical bar area up in front and down a somewhat narrow passageway to the back section is a seating area to mix and Mingle and enjoy a cocktail with friends. The outside area is pretty clean and safe as well as an up and coming trendy neighborhood. I recommend this bar to others and believe that as you sit and enjoy a cocktail or two you can look around the building and really understand how one might have used this location to Harbor the illegal consumption of alcohol in the 20s, perhaps in the back section with a hidden doorway coming off of the hall with a small, ordinary storefront . Either way you should check this location out and I will return myself in the future.

Like I said though it's a smaller bar. But for what it is awesome!! I highly recommend you stop by for a some drinks and enjoy the vibe.

Free hand-rolled Ciggys, 32 oz PBRs, Genessee with a side of whiskey, High Life Bottle Service. The Duck Island Club is a Hipsters Dive Bar paradise. Gorgeous Patio, but the Duck Island Club looks like a hollowed out house. It's a fantastic time... Oh and they have touch tunes.

Friendly staff, well-stocked bar, and over 100 beers! Don't go in expecting food, but the drinks are great, the music is very chill, and the overall ambiance is very relaxing.

Ive been twice now. Once for comedy and then for music. Both times were great. Crowds seem to fill in later and finish the night here. Will return
