We stayed one night at Metropolitan and wanted to eat at Centro; however, they flat refused to walk-in as we didn't make a reservation. So we went to Ledger Bar. This is a tiny place and the food was from Centro. As they were busy, it took a long time to get our food but the bartender was nice. We ordered CRISPY POLENTA CUBES (liked), SPICY PAN SEARED SHRIMP (huge shrimp and good), CLASSIC CAESAR (okay) and MARGHERITA pizza (boring).

Small, intimate bar overlooking the lobby of the Metropolitan hotel. Patrons ranged from fairly casual to more formal, so it could be a fit for any occasion really. Bartender was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and insisted on making our cocktails off-menu based on our preferences - I’m not entirely sure if they even have a cocktail menu. We shared a few appetizers/small-plates which were excellent. The food comes from Adega, however, the full-service restaurant on the first floor of the hotel. Definitely recommend a visit whether or not you are staying at the hotel.

Stopped here for a beverage after the Bengals-Browns game. Marris was a great bartender who made fantastic cocktails. Absolutely love hotel bars. You should definitely stop by this one. Also wanted to give a special thanks to Erica DeMastes, Food and Beverage Director, who deftly and promptly resolved an issue. 5/5 recommend

Came in late. 12:30 am. Solo bartender, did not catch his name. Sat at a 2 top over the lobby. There was a group of 7 or 8 people at the bar. My wife ordered a espresso martini.( Hell yeah. ) The bartender left the bar to get fresh espresso. ( Awesome) during his 8 minute absence. One of the women from the 7 person group went behind the bar and continued to act like an entitled, spoiled jerk.( The nicest way I could describe her.) Continued to act and say she did nothing wrong. I got confrontational with the group said what should have been said. And left. Thank you to the bartender.

love this bar. the bartender is really talented and creative when it comes to drinks. the vibe is lowkey and you don't have to yell to have a conversation. the crowd is always interesting too! never a bad time here

Stopped in for appetizers and dessert. The appetizers were good, but the cheesecake was grainy. The restaurant was beautiful, and we did not feel rushed even though we were there near closing time

Accidentally left a review of Eden instead of Ledger. Oops. Anyhow. Apologizes. Ledger was amazing. Bartender is a pro and a very nice guy. Lots of local knowledge and amazing drinks. Go there. Don't go to Eden. They suck. Go to Ledger bar.

Bartender was overwhelmed. But that is no excuse for the incredibly sweet drinks he kept pouring even after asking him to decrease the sugar or simple syrup he was using. We should have left earlier.
