This is a fun spot! Divey but not in a pretentious way, good beer selection, shuffle board table, and there are turtles! Cute outdoor patio as well. Every first Sunday of the month they apparently have turtle races? Will need to come back to confirm.

One of my favorite bars in Brooklyn! They have a wonderful shuffleboard table, ATM, water cooler for easy water access, and lots of great seating around the bar. Lots of views, a fish tank at the bar, great music playing, outside patio and an awesome turtle tank with two very active turtles. Really a treat to visit! They have a great selection from high quality drinks to wonderful deals such as 4 bucks for a 24oz draft Budweiser. 7 dollar boilermakers! It's really a wonderful place! I mean they have turtle races how can you resist!!?!?! Riff was my bartender super welcoming and a breath of fresh air to talk to!

Only came for drinks, but love this place. It's an eclectic crowd with great music and even better bartenders! (Also not terribly expensive for Bk)

EDIT 6/23/24: Begrudgingly knocking a star off. Perhaps something happened and it's with good reason, but security is suddenly both very aggressive and very inconsistent. I've been coming here for YEARS and security staff has always been lovely-- until now. The super invasive pat-downs are a relatively new phenomenon, in my experience. When I couldn't hear the security guard over the music (my hearing isn't amazing, too many years of this, I guess) and I clarified "you need to search me?" he acted as if I was being flippant and challenging his authority, immediately inviting me to turn around and leave. Bro, I literally just couldn't hear you! When I finally got patted down and made it to the bar, the bartender couldn't hear my order, either! Clearly it's not just me. Furthermore, I fully understand the need for security, especially on the weekend, but the level of nut-fondling is WILD. I've felt less violated at the doctor. TLDR: As a loyal customer who generally loves the bar and the staff, I'm sorry the bar needs this level of security, and I'm happy to cooperate. But when your security staff is stationed nowhere near the front door, approaches while I'm halfway into the bar, isn't prepared with an ID scanner, then acts in an aggressive manner, it feels like amateur hour. --- ORIGINAL REVIEW: It's a dive bar with live turtles in the back. If that isn't your thing, please avoid at all costs. I don't need you to ruin the vibe.

Wow wish I could leave a good review. Too bad they let everybody in except me and my friends. “We’re not letting anybody else in” immediately lets people in

Weird vibes. It’s just a canned repeat of other Brooklyn bars that the owners have and is just feels super imposing. Like a dive bar version of McDonald’s, or something you would find as a theme bar. Catering to tourists and new arrivals. It’s not terrible but not good, and the crowd is like a meme about Brooklyn. Can’t recommend, but wouldn’t advise to avoid.

Went there on a Friday evening, and it was packed. The bartender was great and met some really wonderful people. I look forward to going back!
