This place is such a mood!! It's hidden for a good reason. It's an amazing chill spot, great ambiance and really great drinks and cocktails. And nice soft music in the background enough for the tone to be set but not too much that I cuases for default rowdy conversation. A sweet balance to keep things classy I'd say. A NICE FIND!

Nice cocktails. Quaint little bar with some downtown South Bend history. Didn't try the food, but they did have a small appetizer list. Good place for a quiet conversation over a drink.

A small spot. I like the decor but they need to get some sound dampening going on. Drinks are $10 to start, which is a little silly in the area. Didn't get any food but what I saw looked okay.

A little (word used intentionally) gem of a pun. The landlord stopped for a chat despite the place being packed for the Thursday night local Irish musicians jam. I counted five fiddles, six wind instruments and string instrument I did not recognize and two of the Irish drums held on the left hand. Quite the blast. Only thing that would have improved the place was a decent IPA, but I'm from Seattle so spoiled in that regard.

Great place for a solo, a couple, maybe three or four. Laid back. And the bartender knows the classics as well as the latest mixes.

What an awesome place. Outstanding service and great selection of bourbon rye and whiskey. A neighborhood speakeasy that is very welcoming. Highly recommend!

I used to be a regular here but the standards and experience has gone down substantially. As a regular I got to see how the owners were not very friendly to people outside of their clique and even less nice to their staff. Its never a good sign where you see a new bar tender every month due to the temperament of the owners. The food is quite bland as well and I've tried almost everything on the menu. There is no real taste and it for sure isn't worth the premium price you pay for it. The place is very cozy but not great for large seating as there is not enough space for more tables and places to sit. I once was going down from the apartments above later at night and asked the bartender if I could take a quick shortcut through to the other side of the road. I got yelled at and rebuked by the owners for doing so. If you want better drinks, a better atmosphere, and much friendlier staff for the same price point, go to the Whiskey Exchange

This was the coolest little spot. Had some time to kill before a show at the Morris. Great drinks and fun environment. Will be back again.
