3rd Base Bar & Grill

Took the kiddos out for some lunch after our football game. Food was great and our server was super sweet. I’m still in awe of our mozerella sticks. I ordered two orders because normally moz are small and my family loves them. They were so big and filling we didn’t even get to eat the second order. My Philly steak was on point. Big cudos to the chef and our server.

This is solely based off my own experience on my first time eating at this establishment. The waitress, Heather, was very stiff. Meaning she looked like she didn't care. Maybe she was struggling or stressed out. The food was gross, I think my daughter was the only one who actually finished her food. My husband got an Italian beef and it was far from being labeled Italian beef. The meat was flavorless, and mushy, in fact it was like roast beef with cheese on top. My chicken sandwich had a chemical taste. The fries were the best thing they had because they tasted like fairground fries. My son choked on his bacon burger, thankfully he got it out before we needed to perform the Heimlich maneuver. My parents ate most of their food because they was starving after driving from down south. This was their first time in LaPorte Indiana and I truly wish we would've gone elsewhere. But we decided to give this place a try. It's a cute place. And I'm sure it was just a bad day. At least I hope it was. My advice, go try it for yourself.

It was drunk food and I was sober, edible, but would have been 5 out of 5 if I had taken advantage of the FANTASTIC beer prices.

They took in our baseball team short notice around 50 people. In and out in under 2 hours! Food was a but slow, but it's a small place and I know if I walked in off the street with a few friends the food would be delicious! Server was amazing !

This is your typical Lake town pub. It does have a good vibe with a lot of locals coming through. I did really enjoy the bartender and we got to see the CWS game which was key.Geaux Tigers!

What could be better than two Chicago dogs, house made chips and an ice cold beer? The beautiful weather, sitting outside, enjoying the sunshine and cool breezes! Home Run lunch! The homemade pork schnitzel sandwich was outstanding! Tasty coating! Some for now and later!

Nice Friday night friendly local people when I visited. Great service. Excellent potato salad. Delicious burger. ️‍⚧️ friendly.

Very neighborhood bar feel. Waiter knew many of the people at our table though it was my first time there. Great service from staff. The food was soooo good! I can't eat anything fried and so I went for a grilled chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Cooked perfectly with great seasoning.
