Fantastic, intimate yet spacious queer bar with amazing bartenders, cute decor, and excellent cocktails. Not too loud, and a great music selection! Handi- accessible. Great place for after work drinks or a date, and an important addition to Boston. Go!!

I LOVE DANIS! The greatest bar to ever open in Boston. The food was delicious and the drinks are to die for. I love the atmosphere and vibe, it’s a plus that the employees are super kind. Thank you for doing this for the community!

Went here for opening weekend and man everything was great! I see so much potential and hope that people continue to support it. From the decor to the staff everything was immaculate! I didn’t get a chance to try the food as yet but have heard great things about it so I can’t wait to try! This will be me and my Fiancée spot from now on! It felt so good to have a spot that we can really feel safe and relax in. Shout out to Milani at the bar she was amazing and kept our drinks refilled all night! Awesome service

Not it. My drink came in a dirty plastic glass (lipstick AND odd stains), and was mid which was disappointing to start with. There were no hooks for bags, which tbh feels like a huge oversight when their presumed target audience is queers and women. The low top tables were dirty (on a slow Monday night with maybe 6 other guests). Bench seating for the low top tables were also uncomfortably high (if you’re 5’2 or below your feet will not touch the floor). The biggest ick for me: cold overhead lighting that can trigger migraines. It wasn’t giving cozy. The whole place had an unfriendly vibe—definitely not the warm, welcoming space I’d hoped for.

I really wanted to love this place but I've been twice and unfortunately both times the vibes were NOT it. The space is super cute and the drinks are good (pricey but that's Boston for you lol) but some of the staff are SO rude. The second time I came we couldn't even go in because they wouldn't let my friend in with a tote bag even though they were searching bags, which doesn't make any sense??? I have never heard of a policy like that. The bouncer was so dismissive and unfriendly and we ended up having to divvy up all their stuff between our purses to go in while she just watched us impatiently. Then, as we entered, we got berated for holding the door open for the people behind us because we were "letting out the heat" even though it was 60 degrees outside. We also got charged a cover fee at 8 PM and then had to wait for almost half an hour for them to even open the dancefloor. Also, the music was absolutely awful both times I have been. No one was even dancing!! I really want to love this place because I'm so passionate about lesbian community and the disappearance of lesbian bars in America, but I don't see myself coming back here. I did NOT feel any sense of community at all. I left both times feeling berated and unwelcome.

Had a great time. Bar and, for the first time saying this, bouncers were all very friendly. Great vibe and good music. Appreciate a club environment staying open until 2am in Back Bay, much needed for the neighborhood.

I was really excited to visit Dani’s Queer Bar after following their updates on social media for the past couple of years. My fiancée and I decided to stop by for a drink after dinner in the area on Saturday evening. It was early, and the bar wasn’t busy at all. We waited nearly 20 minutes to be served at the bar, only to be ignored by the bartender. She continued to take orders from people who arrived after us. At first, we assumed it was just a mistake, but as the wait stretched on, it became clear that this was not an oversight. The bartender's behavior felt rude and unwelcoming, for no apparent reason. Eventually, we decided to leave. I was genuinely looking forward to supporting this queer establishment, especially as it's the first of its kind in the area, but it’s disheartening to feel so disregarded. After reading through other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in feeling this way. I sincerely hope this is something that can be addressed because I really want this place to succeed. I might consider giving it another try, but it won’t be for a while.

My roommate and her girlfriend chose this wonderful, newly gay bar in the area of Boston to celebrate her birthday after our dinner. We waited an hour in line after the bouncer told us it would be 20 minutes. Everyone stayed positive and no one really cared about the wait, we were all so excited to celebrate our friend. Unfortunately, the birthday girl was dancing on the chair while our friend dance on the booth...we had no harm and were just making the best of our night as we couldn't make it downstairs. The lady who took our cover me proceeds to come over extremely aggressively and yells at them to stop dancing on the chair and in booth or we will get kicked out. She was so aggressive we left and she killed our vibe completely. So uncalled for. Everyone at the table was very upset.
