Let me start by saying we first checked out Gateway Tavern. It was the most unpleasant bar I have been in over the past 8years. The bartenders and the owners bedside manner are is awful. We left and went to Hayes Tavern, recommended by some friends. It was fantastic smiles, food and fun banter. Bartenders were on point and friendly they made the experience fun. By far better than Gateway Tavern.

I like coming here. Nobody bothers you and there's a back section with a pool table. Little, old bar with good prices.
