The Majestic Saloon

I came with a friend for the first time to their January drag show. It was a lot of fun! Love the decor and general vibe, a very accepting place. A sliding scale cover charge (starting at $5) was reasonable and I found the drink prices similar to other Northampton bars. I got a drink called the Love Potion (pictured) and it was delicious! Bartenders were very attentive and I didn't want more than a minute to place a drink order. Some of the other drinks they had on the menu seemed super fun - edible glitter, pop rocks, cotton candy! Can't wait to go back and try some more!

My partner and I stopped in the other night for a drink after reading the reviews and were looking for friendly LGB establishment to enjoy some drinks. Let's start with the good, the bar tender was good and my drink was delicious. Now the bad. The reviews said that this place felt like a safe space to hang out and enjoy company. Well, the person at the door "security" didn't instill a feeling of security at all. They were rude to my partner but we moved on believing that maybe we misinterpreted something. However, my partner did not feel safe at this establishment. Some of the material around us was quite offensive and as part of the LGB community we will not be returning. Northampton has many great venues, and, in our opinion, you should skip this one.

I had never been to this location before and thought I would give it a try. I was confused by the person at the door asking for a donation at the door as I was going there for a drink and expected to pay at the bar. I am not sure if the person was offended by my confusion. I proceeded to order a drink which had the normal alcoholic drink ingredients listed on the menu. When I got the drink, it had a very clear task of marijuana added to the drink. I asked my friend to try it to see if he tasted it as well and he said that he did taste it too. I thought that it must be my imagination that something unwanted would have been added to my drink. I did not really realize what must have happened until the next day as I had trusted that the drink I ordered and received would have the ingredients listed on the menu. I would not trust going to this bar again and would certainly not recommend it to anyone else.

Great spot for drinks, lots of community events, and fun atmosphere.

I have only been in Noho for a short time but the Majestic and all of its wonderful staff (shout out for Yas, Maya, and Bob!!) Have made me feel so welcome. Catching DJ pearl on karaoke nights is a blast, I'm so happy this place exists!! Amazing prices and lovely customer service and immaculate vibes. Highly recommend.

This is the BEST bar in Northampton. It has the nicest staff, amazing drinks, a great atmosphere, and has the best events. Plus they are always conscious about people’s safety, which makes it very comfortable especially for LGBTQ people. If I could give them all my money, I would karaoke night is the best around

Super nice staff, amazing drinks, fun music/entertainment choices, and a generally awesome vibe. The place is so much bigger than it looks from outside! I feel their drink "The Britney" changed me as a person (for the better).

Security did nothing when my friend was being harassed because some dude thought she drank his beer. He was flipping us off, insulting us, and glaring at us the whole night. Security walked right up to the guy and asked HIM if everything was alright.. he said “yup!” and they walked away…. yikes. Do better.
