Gilly's Sports Bar

Only second time visiting this place. Bartenders are attentive and friendly. Drinks are reasonably priced (meaning on avg w/ nost places). Food: Ordered wings and fries. Wings rated 5 out of 10. Fries were all burned so can’t say how they tasted as I trashed them. Kitchen not scheduled to close for another 3-4 hours so my timing can’t be blamed. Summary….great service from bartenders makes it a decent drinking/pool table bar. (Skip food) I’ll try food during daylight hours to see if it’s better then.

I've been coming to this bar for over 4 years. The new management is awesome. The poker is always hysterical and fun. The crowd is always welcoming as well as the staff. The food is really good and fair priced. The drinks are always good and they definitely help elevate my poker skills. It's a very nice poker training ground to learn patience and how to get sucked out with class. If you can survive here, you can make it anywhere. Keep it up!

When I saw the "Bar Rescue" sign I should have turned around. I ordered the Fried Mushroom plater and only ate one bc it was gross (fried in pancake batter it seemed like) ordered the ribeye and they gave us a fillets of idk what and it took about 50 mins to get it bc it was defrosting(waitress told us so) and came out burnt anyways. Ordered the Philly cheese steak and got a mouthful of SALT. Had three trays of fries with different meals that tasted like pure salt. Had two different kinds of different specialty cheeseburger meals that tasted like pure salt.. Waitress brought us out one thing of fries without seasoning and I couldn't wrap my head around the fact that they had made fresh but were still extremely soggy. Told the waitress about all of the concerns and was still charged for everything plus automatic gratuity on the bill..... simply bc we had already started consuming the food. never mind the fact that we couldn't continue eating it.. (We literally had to stop eating and could not consume the food and they still charged us for it) I wouldn't recommend this place at all... the fact that we were the ONLY people there should have told us that to begin with... Edit to add 10/16: I believe the owner or manager responded stating that my comments above were untrue.. If Mr/Mrs. Manager could provide me the best phone number or email to forward the images and receipts to I would GREATLY appreciate it!

I enjoyed my food and drinks! Even better because it’s an after hours spot with a good mixed crowd. There’s a DJ karaoke, and billiards table.

I usually get the mild with lemon pepper wings but today I wanted to try something different and did the honey jerk wings and what an utter disappointment. They were completely charred and burnt to where they were not edible. After the first 2 I gave up. No flavor just burnt to a crisp with honey drizzled on top. Do not recommend ordering. Not worth the $20 they charge for a 10 piece with no fries or drink. A waste of my lunch.

Everything about this place is fab! It reminds me of a movie kind of bar but in a upscale neighborhood, the owner there is a very great guy the kitchen staff is very nice they prepare food even if the bar just open Mr. cortez the chef does very well on everything the food is delicious they have so many specials on certain days they also do karaoke, poker & much more! 10/10 for this bar
