This is one of my regular spots. I love it. I always have a great time whenever I come here. The one thing I would ask them to change is the music is way too much of today's hip hop after 10 and if the DJ could play a couple of slow dance songs towards the end.

So the atmosphere was great, music was nice. But I'm not understanding why i see a lot of people saying the food is great maybe everyone is drunk when they eat. I understand everyone taste buds are different, everyone doesn't know what good food taste like. The food here is awful!!! I'm a foodie person and 1to10 sugar bush food is a 3 and the only reason I say 3 is because the pork chops was better than anything I taste. The mac&cheese was a reheat from day before the collard greens taste like can greens or someone needs extra skills to clean and cook greens, and the corn bread muffin drrryyyyyyy and reheated. The catfish didn't taste like catfish my opinion 50yard line has the best catfish on the south side. And last but not least the fried rice was awful.

We celebrated my niece 60th birthday and we had a GREAT TIME!!! Love Sugar Bush!!

A friendly atmosphere to enjoy friends, family and host a bday party. Food and drinks are great. A friend of mine recently had her bday party there and we had a great time. More recently I enjoyed watching a football game with my brother there. We made new friends and enjoyed the food and DRINKS!

Went here this afternoon for a going away party with my dad. It was my first time here. Came during happy hour and ordered the catfish nuggets and fries!! From 4pm to 7pm ( Wednesday - Saturday) it was so good!! Definitely worth it!! $8.99 Plenty of parking and friendly atmosphere.

I ordered on Door Dash to pickup and it was ready fast and hot. Flavors are southern and restaurant quality. Pork Chops are a hit and greens with fried rice was good to me. I didn’t know it was a lounge, might have to come one day to check it out. Looked pretty packed, I was just happy to get quality food late. Cornbread was southern. Rib tips tasted baked. Would’ve liked grill smoke flavor instead. Value is there so I ordered the next day. Catfish nuggets and fries were very appropriate. This place is worth a 5 star instead of 4. Always packaged with two utensils, sauces on point. Keep up the good business.

Great atmosphere if you're looking for an older crowd to mingle with. Pay at the door caught me off guard but I'd say it was worth it. The Dj was great though, the best part of my evening.

Nice place! We popped in for the Friday night experience. Food was enjoyable. We had the shrimp quesadillas and lemon pepper wings. The drinks were ok. They had a limited whiskey selection so the sours were not as fantastic as they could have been to me. The atmosphere and dancing were fun. Lots of great music and line dancing. There was a lot of slower tempo songs, however, for a long period of time. Pick up the pace please! Also, there was a tablecloth on the floor under our high top. We relocated to another seat to accommodate more of our friends. We watched the waitress pick up the tablecloth and place it on one of the high top we were sitting at. Sigh that’s a concern. OUR waitress, however, was very attentive and professional. Overall a good time. We may be back but only for the music and dancing. (Tablecloth / hygiene)
