The Vortex Bar & Grill

This is a really unique place and it is awesome! It's higher end bar food with lots more choices. If you like spicy the Hells Fury burger is fantastic. I was in town for 5 days and ate here 2x if that's any indication. Highly reccomend for anyone looking for some good grub or to watch a game.

I had dinner here while in town for a conference. The vibe was great, and the food was awesome. I'm still reeling from those funnel cake fries!!! Only giving 4 stars because I ordered an espresso martini and I did not like it at all. The others I dined with also were not fans of their cocktails, either.

Favorite spot to grab a burger since Kuma’s Corner on Belmont in Chicago. Fantastic hip hop/occult vibe. Very unique atmosphere and absolutely deadly offering of “coronary” line of burgers. The burger fries and porter on tap didn’t disappoint, the by far, the standout was the atmosphere and friendly service. I am definitely coming back before I leave ATL.

It was delicious! We loved it!! Fries were just very regular plain fries I think they could do a better job and have a much more unique french fry to make them taste so much better. I got the come'on awana lei U burger, it was delicious!!! Sorry about the spelling not sure let's not listed below so I had to add it to my review!

This was an amazing first-time experience! We visited on a Saturday afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of wait time. Our waitress, Ashley, was outstanding—very helpful and attentive. The cheeseburger was perfectly prepared, big, and juicy. The plantains were full of flavor. And the Buffalo wings? The best I've had in Atlanta so far. This place is a must-try!

The Vortex never disappoints. Awesome atmosphere. Amazing food. Cool wait staff. Neat decor. Cold beers. Comedy club in the back. What more could you ask for?! We had a bacon cheddar burger and the ATL chopped cheese this go-around. Both were delish as usual. They have Wells banana beer, my favorite, so had to get some of those. The cocktails in the comedy club were also great…the ATLien, sump-n-fruity and margaritas were all on point. Not to mention the cute bartender in the comedy club

The food was amazing, the burgers were so juicy and meaty. The staff was super attentive and very nice! The order came out at a reasonable time and we were a really big party. This was definitely an alternative restaurant and it’s not like every other restaurant you go to get a burger, but it’s definitely one of my favorites now when going to Atlanta.

Wow! I'm so glad I chose this place. I had the Pickle Rick burger with tots, and I tried the local lager. All of it was so delicious!! It helped too that the music playlist was on point, and our waitress, Kat G., was the best waitress I've had in years!!
