Charleston Sports Pub

Great place to grab some food and watch sports. The chicken tenders were really small to be "jumbo size" as listed on the menu. The buffalo shrimp on the appetizer menu is a good choice and were really good. Prices are reasonable for majority of the menu. The wait staff were slow to take orders but to be fair the night we went it was extremely busy.

The upstairs bar was awful, I do not recommend. We went for the st Patrick’s day bar crawl and the girl behind the bar freaked out because my group asked for the free Jell-O shots that were supposed to be included with the bar crawl ticket package. She said “we’re not doing that this year” and stormed off throwing cans behind the bar and complaining. Never came back to take our order for another drink either. I had to flag her down and ask her if she could at least take our order then and she told me no someone will come talk to us. We waited for 20-30 minutes and still no one came to help us. Finally someone from our group grabbed the bar manager and explained the situation and he gave us free “lemon drop shots” that tasted just like lemonade. The manager was easy to talk to and understanding and said he apparently “never approved” free drinks. He was making excuses for his bartender being rude to us when she clearly couldn’t handle it, she had an attitude with other customers from the beginning. Throwing things behind the bar and pretty much throwing a tantrum. Should not be in this field if you can’t handle one of the busiest days of the year. I hope this helps anyone who is thinking about going there.

Revision to my review 3 years ago when they first opened. Fabulous place to eat. The service is terrific. Our server checked on us constantly, as we had 6 and were waiting on everyone to get there, parking in Greenville, 'nough said. Everyone had a different meal selection, every meal looked so good and there was not a hungry person after we finished. So much portions, sides, dips, refreshing the drinks, this was a great experience. Prices are very reasonable. As we were leaving, I asked about the simulation sign station they have, in the middle of the place. They have a decent arcade downstairs beside eating area level but a simulation area upstairs, that you can just go to, no reservations needed, with various sports. Huge TV's everywhere, different channels every where, good size bar area, high tops and bar stools at the bar itself. The was another larger family there and they had a great time and great service. Friday night 7pm, it was a welcome change to NOT have to wait to be seated, to NOT wait for for server, to not to have to wait too long for the food. We're going back, going to hit that simulator see what that's about but so glad we went back and gave this place a try. Check out the photos of our dishes. Highly recommend! Almost the only customer, there was 1 other person, in there and food took a long time to get to the table, I finally had to ask about it. Waitress was sweet and super nice but I was like, "it's a BBQ taco", why was it taking so long? BBQ was cold, to boot and there was like nothing on it. So I waited a long time, for some cold BBQ in a taco shell. At nine o'clock a guy started playing acoustic guitar and singing, he was very talented and played many favorites and a few of his originals that were good too. Everyone I came in contact with entry and leaving, there were a lot of staff there was very friendly. Just took forever to get the food, for some reason.

Great food and service. The music seemed exceptionally loud for no reason, so it was hard to interact at the table. But it was a fun, lively atmosphere, so I get the vibe they are going for here. Everybody loved their food. Prices are a little high, but that's to be expected for such a location. Service was super friendly. Would definitely be back or recommend to others.

Awesome service. Awesome atmosphere. Awesome food. Just simply awesome. Highly recommend starting with the fried pickles and banana peppers!! Revision: Had to add this, we went back the next day (12-30-23)because we enjoyed it so much! When we were greeted by the hostess we asked if we could sit at a open table near the bar, she responded we couldn’t because it wasn’t clean, so I asked is there anyway we could sit there until it is cleaned and she stormed off, cleaned the table eventually and we sat ourselves. She was clearly very mad at us. Her attitude was uncalled for and in my opinion she does not need to work in the customer service industry. buy i will say after that our server was pleasant and kept apologizing for the hostess. For that i will syill keep 5 stars. but that hostess needs to go!

I've never eaten here in person, but I've ordered a lot of food delivery from here. I'm really sad they closed, they had the best BBQ nachos in town, and where else am I going to find bird dog fries? No other pub/bar compared to Charleston sports pub's menu and flavors. Thanks for the good eats while it lasted

one of the worst kitchens I have seen in my whole entire life . the dish pit is atrocious, with black mold in the corners and in the dish machine itself. food is opened, unlabeled, and most food items are left on shelves where gnats and flies can get to it. management here SUCKS.

We've been twice! Once in Clemson and once in Greenville! The food was consistent! That's awesome! A special on draft. We got the pitcher for $12! In Greenville we at the window. It was absolutely fantastic. My son likes they have the games associated with the restaurant. I like the atmosphere. There was a gentleman waiter ... Unfortunately he wasnt ours... But he did visit with us and pre bus the table. He was wonderful. Great time!
