Spur Bar

This is a cute, clean place where people of all ages 21+ can enjoy themselves. The decor is rustic and updated. They have karaoke on Saturday night which is always fun. It is better suited for smokers, though. I spent a few hours there with friends and this morning, I feel like I smoked a half pack of cigarettes last night. The smoking section is right outside and there are two doors that open to it. The bartender kept the door open while he went out to smoke or chat with other smokers. There were several times I couldn't get service and was told by other patrons to wait for the bartender to get done outside. There were also people vaping inside so I finally had to leave. My friend left a little earlier because her eyes were visibly red and irritated. Between the open doors to the smoking area and the vapers indoors, it was pretty gross. This is a great place for local smokers who like small bars. I would love to go back but I think I will stay away. All that smoke is just a major turn off, not to mention horrible for your lungs and eyes. Yuck! I think they should get some air scrubbers, put up signs that say no vaping and enforce it, put fans up in the smoking area, and keep the doors to the smoking area closed. That may help? Such a bummer because I really like the place. I want to give a better score for the atmosphere because it really is nice but the smoke just kills it. If it weren't for the cleanliness, the decor, and the fun people, I'd give less than three stars due to the smoke.

Went super early but super cool place can't wait to go back.

Great little dive bar. Exactly what you can expect. Very friendly and inviting outside area. Beer/seltzer selection was decent.. definitely recommend stopping by.. charming lil spot 🙂

Lizard the bartender is amazing. The male bartender - not so much. The first time I came to spur bar I came in and sat at the bar for over 5 min before he came out from the back somewhere, and he had a horrible attitude and acted as though he was annoyed I was there. The next visit lizard was working - she is a gem, very friendly, great attitude. The last time I was there the male bartender was there again and same thing. He had the absolute worse attitude to the point that my friend and I left shortly after getting there. It’s unfortunate, because it’s the only place open late, but you get a very different experience depending on who’s working.

I love little bars.. THIS IS THEEEE CLEANEST BAR I’VE EVER BEEN AT! I have never seen such a clean and organized bar.. We walked in and were immediately taken care of too.. Such a great experience and awesome service from Savannah! We will be back!

Great place to have a drink or two, play pool, watch the big screen TVs, nice outside area too. Service, is the best! Great bands.

Great small town historical bar with a wonderful eclectic atmosphere, great entertainment. Karaoke every Saturday night at 9pm till 1am. Weekly live music venues. 2 pool tables, Horseshoe pits and Cornhole boxes. Great staff ready to serve all your favorite refreshments.
