First off, on a Friday afternoon, y’all better be staffing enough people. Our bartender/server was excellent, but he was clearly overwhelmed, and the speed of service suffered because of it. Management, I hope you’re paying attention. If three parties walk in and drinks take more than ten minutes, you might wanna hire a bar back. The food was pretty dang fantastic, I must say. Kudos to the back of house. I can’t remember the name of the burger I ordered, but it was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the fries with the house-made ranch dressing were amazing. This has the makings of a destination bar and grill for Phoenicians, but only if the whole experience merits a five star review. Ours, unfortunately, didn’t. Not because of staff, or the food, or the atmosphere, but because the owners were running a skeleton crew.

Food was decent and drinks were decent but all together expensive! Ambiance was cute and service good I just could not get over the fact it cost us $100 for a table of 4 to get two beverages and 6 tacos and onion rings. The bartender/server was very friendly and made suggestions of what to order. It was a good place to go once and see the small town

My daughter got a kids cheeseburger and she seemed to enjoy it. I ordered the French dip sandwich, Kinda dry in my opinion. My husband ordered the ultimate burger and said it was beyond amazing!!! Super moist! Tons of flavor! He was really impressed and he is a burger guy.

A very cool spot to have stopped on the drive through. Sadly although staff was very friendly, they don't seem to understand how to be attentive to the needs of ordering of customers. Even getting a beer took a long time. And very unfortunately, the food (beef dip) was not very good. A place like this could be a destination stop due to its great character, but they need to up their game on the food.

Dark, saloon style restaurant. We arrived at 4ish so it wasn’t busy. We were greeted fairly quickly and taken to a table. Then we waited about 5 minutes before a server showed up. There is no wine or beer list (warning bells). Gallo wine (that’s it) and mostly the Budweiser type beer with a couple different ones on tap. No craft beers and no IPAs. Boo!! They do have a full bar though if you’re into liquor. We were given the lunch menu which is sandwiches, burgers, chicken, and a few salads. We asked to see the dinner menu which was more limited, and they were out of the rib eye. We opted for the Mushroom and Swiss and Wild West burgers. We asked for medium but they were served medium well. They were nice sized burgers with huge buns (which we didn’t eat and didn’t ask for). The burgers were good but nothing special and not worth $15 a pop. The french fries were okay. They had a light breading but not much flavor. Dressed them up with salt and ketchup which made them better but I like to taste my fries when I splurge. Service was mediocre. There was a lot of chitchat among the employees, and they were eating their dinner so they kinda forgot about us. Total cost $51 for 2 beers, 2 burgers and tip. Too many “just okays” for us to return.

Our hotel recommended Low Places for a good meal and drinks. We were not disappointed. Located in the downtown area, it was an easy drive. The drink selection was very good. I ordered the Bloody Mary (the bacon got me). It was like a meal. I especially liked the homemade pickles on the bottom. Dinner was very filling but still had room for dessert. If you are in Camp Verde, seek out this gem.

It's an okay spot that does some things better than others. Order your burger medium rare if you want medium. Medium is actually well done, as shown in the photo, and thats happened twice now. The fried chicken sandwich is just 2 chicken tenders on a bun with the fixins, grilled may have been better. The clam chowder was average, a little watery, lacked clams and salt. I've heard great things about the Prime Rib special but haven't had it yet. Still gets 4 stars because I don't want to blast a local place when we all need as much help as we can get right now, and the food is decent, hopefully a little more care will be put into future orders to help keep this establishment's rating from sinking to low places

Spicy buffalo sandwich add tomato and lettuce with fries was fantastic! chips and salsa were good too, too large of chopped onion for my liking, but I still enjoyed it. Bonus: their sweet tea was great!
