Two things to start: it’s a smoking bar and it’s cash only. Do not let either of these things scare you. We had an incredible time. Zan was our bartender and he’s an incredible drink maker. The menu is limited to just beverages, so eat before you arrive. The ambiance was really spectacular. It opened in 1954 and it’s not hard to see why it’s stayed in business so long.

This CASH ONLY Bar is a Pittsburgh staple. I've been here many times and never had a bad expirence. It's always dark, cold and smokey. The best way I can describe this place is basically an upscale dive bar. Stepping into to this bar is like stepping back in time. The service is always great and quick no matter the time or day. Now if you don't like smoke this isn't the bar for you. Otherwise it's a must see in the area.

Really good cocktails with fresh squeezed juices! Better priced than a lot of cocktail bars. Definitely a go to! It is a cigar & smoking bar so don’t go if you don’t like that smell. Nice atmosphere with an old jukebox for music!

As many times as I have been to Pittsburgh I have never been here until now. It is truly a hidden gem! We almost couldn’t find it but so fortunate we did. Bartender was so friendly and made us the best greyhounds! Beware as they strong. My husband enjoyed his cigar and we absolutely loved the jukebox! Will definitely be coming back every time we are in town.

Old style super-alcoholic drinks. They take pride in getting you hammered. Definitely not for the faint of the heart. I loved their ancient cashier machines, these pieces should be in a museum by now approaching a 100 years old.

No food there. Be aware it is a smoking bar so ladies be prepared to wash your hair after. Great vibes and the staff are all lovely. 10/10

Best bar in town!!! Great atmosphere, friendly service, delicious cocktails and excellent beer. Also they’re open every day of the year.
