Poor Richards Pub

Went here because of “The Office” but it turns out it was never filmed there according to the waiter. The place was used as reference on the show, however. If you’re in town visiting the other spots, may be worth a quick stop here. It’s located inside a bowling alley.

Very casual but fun! This place is located within the bowling alley building. You walk in the doors and it’ll be to your right. I got a delicious basic burger and a side of mozzarella sticks. I had a drink or two, just some seltzer. My bf had a beer. The place was just as amazing as it was on The Office! Loved the vibe!

After a day of checking out the office sites in Scranton, I thought I might skip Poor Richard’s Pub…. But I am so glad I didn’t! The place really has a cool vibe, good music and friendly staff. They have some nice office memorabilia and the atmosphere brought me back to the pubs of my youth. Great place. I had beer and my wife had the “that’s what she said” cocktail. Both good, next I need to try the food. Bottom line, it is worth checking out.

This place is mentioned in The Office, but there is no footage, the people who worked there confirmed this to me, however, it is an excellent place, I recommend it.

Located at the front of the bowling alley, this spot is a great local bar and office themed spot. Grab a beer and t-shirt! Service was really friendly and the beers were perfect.

We had 3 things off the menu and they were all DELICIOUS. Sweet potato fries, perogies, and Philly cheese steak egg rolls! So good, I wish we could go back. Besides that it's The Office "hangout", so glad we came because the food was top notch. Made with love. Cool place as well. The bartender was awesome.

It was nice to be able to go & eat at a place that was in a popular sitcom. For 2 people with beers & food, to pay below $50 is amazing. I'm glad they didn't jack up their prices like most places do.

We came here earlier than when it opened and the owner was nice and let us take a look at the place. They have a lot of The Office swag and also drinks like "That's what she said" mixed drinks. The owner also told us sometimes cast members from the show visit and they have a great time.
