Castle Rock Bar and Grill

Amazing place with awesome food choices and ambience. We were visiting NJ and I have lived in Hong Kong, Singapore and in other cities in the US. I can truly say this place is a gem and is a must visit. We had a sit down dinner. They have ample seating for sit down dinner, but they also have a spacious bar area with lots of bar seating if you want to watch games. We ordered Cauliflower fritters, hot wings, beef briskets, chipotle chicken wrap and Cajun chicken and Shrimp pasta. The beef was just perfectly done and the bread was fresh and crispy. Chicken wrap had crispy chicken and it was delicious. The Cajun shrimp pasta was delicious too. The drink selection was also extremely good, many choices of cocktail for all taste buds. To top it all off we ordered the Sticky dates pudding which is to die for. The owner himself is a chef and you can tell that from the food quality and taste.

First and foremost, this is a hidden local gem! Great ambiance and vibe, great drinks and food! Not to mention trivia and karaoke night in your local neighborhood. My first time here and the bartender is amazing, such great humble fun vibes!! Fun is what you make it and this place can be great vibe!! Drink, eat and enjoy! MUST VISIT if you are a local resident and not planning to drive even 3 miles

Castle rock is offering a diverse menu with standout dishes like Cajun Chicken and Shrimp Pasta, Wings of Heaven, and classic Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Dishes were delicious and satisfying. Cozy ambiance and excellent service make it a must-visit spot.

There is a new bar and restaurant in town! Castle Rock replaces an old West Orange staple and it did not disappoint with the food. The nachos had nice tender beef and the sliders and wings were a great size, everything was very flavorful. My favorite was my cucumber limetini, very refreshing! We went for happy hour, expected some deals and when ask we were told everything all apps were 30% off, our receipt only reflected 20% off. They are very new, but no worries on the hiccup. The entire time the staff was very nice! Great place that just needs to establish their identity in the community. A massive amount of TVs in the bar areas, but I had to ask for March Madness games to be played.

I've visited Castle Rock Bar and Grill multiple times, and it's become my top choice in West Orange. The owner, Sanju, and his team are incredibly friendly. I'm a big fan of their diverse cocktail menu, crafted by skilled bartenders. This spot is perfect for catching a game while enjoying a cold beer and a variety of tasty dishes. My personal favorites are the Wings of Heaven, Brisket Cheese Sandwich, Crispy Chicken Chipotle Wrap, and Braised Short Ribs. If you're looking to watch a game and enjoy great food and drinks, I highly recommend this place.

We used to be regular patrons of the prior pub at this location and finally paid the new place a visit. New menu, new furniture, new staff. My Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich was delicious (recommended by our waitress) and my partner said her Veggie Burger was very good. We both said we'd order them again. And the onion rings and fries were top notch. The new owner came out and chatted for a bit, which was really nice. The dining room and bar area weren't too busy - it probably takes time to replace a local establishment that's been around for a while. But we hope more people will give Castle Rock a try. I know we'll be back.

Was looking for a spot for beers and food after a round of golf and came upon this place on google. Completely blew our expectations out of the water. Wings, sliders and chicken wrap were all great. Great tap beer selection. Bartender was super helpful getting all the games on TVs. Tons of TVs if you are looking for a spot to watch games. Highly recommend!
