Hudson Hill

I was definitely not expecting to love this place as much as I did! I was surprised how quiet this cafe was especially with so many people in the space. Many folks were working and keeping to themselves but it had such a relaxing and welcoming vibe. We had some pâté and baguettes and the grilled cheese that came with some incredible jam and delicious mustard. The staff was so cool and nice and I also had the best London fog latte I’ve ever had. Hudson Hill is a great coffee shop in the Capital Hill neighborhood that has a nice selection of coffee, tea, mocktails, and cocktails. They also have a small food menu so it was a good choice to set up and work for a few hours. Parking is metered so around so be aware of that. Thanks so much - see you next time.

Great place with delicious drinks and a wonderful vibe. The Muscle Beach mocktail was so full of flavor while being incredibly refreshing - would definitely recommend! Great selection of pastries including a GF option.

Initially identified for their zero proof cocktail options - their signature cocktails were awesome too. Between the staff and local patrons, this bar had a very friendly vibe.

It’s definitely a cute aesthetic and I’ve never had a bad experience with the staff. You’ll always be greeted and seated right away and you’re never be left unattended too long. Yet the menu is overpriced and underwhelming. There isn’t a comfortable seat in the house. The tables are too low and awkward and the bar stools are just tiny. All the working tops are narrow and the tall bar tops are too tall to comfortably sit your feet anywhere. At night, the lights go almost completely off. I understand it’s a cocktail lounge but it’s almost as if they’re trying too hard for the “late night lounge” feel? 4 cocktails (well liquor) $60 ….

Exquisite mocha and latte art, excellent service, perfect place for working or visiting with people. Love the layout of Hudson Hill, varied seating arrangements, all the amazing plants. It seems really chill and relaxing place to hang out and be. Hudson Hills might be in the top five of favorite Denver coffee shops.

Edit - dropping to 4/5. Don’t come here for coffee. $8 for a cold brew with cream and sugar. Great cold brew, but not the best in the city by far. But it is the most expensive coffee in the city that I’ve experienced. Stick to evening drinks for this place. OG Post: Really cool concept - I can see myself coming here on an afternoon to finish up work with a coffee, then transitioning to cocktails. I have only been here for cocktails, but they have a lot of really clean and quality options. Happy hour lasts till 7, and while they don’t have great deals, they do bring great cocktails down a few bucks - and their cocktails up front are a good deal + quality at the discounted price. Vibe is also great - it’s cute and bright during the day, while dark and more intimate at night. There is a heated tent for extra seating during all seasons. I’d be more apt to bring a small group here over a date - I really like the more social atmosphere I get here. Will be back for coffee and food soon!

Just moved to Denver and found this great spot on my coffee shop tour. The design, the music, and the seating arrangements make it a great venue. I came for morning coffee but no doubt a perfect cocktail spot too. Fantastic service and staff. And the panini burrito rocks!
