Trailhead Taphouse & Kitchen

Being from Louisiana, I was a little skeptical of a Cajun restaurant in Golden, to be honest. The food was spot on, and the flavors were perfect! We ordered the mix appetizer that had okra, gator bites and catfish nuggets.... it was AMAZING! The peel and eat shrimp were a great size, cooked perfectly and deliciously seasoned. Highly recommend stopping by here if you're looking to it some great food!

Popped in for a snack. We almost didn’t walk all the way down the street, checked out the menu posted outside. We were drawn in by the gator bites. Delish, crispy with perfect spice, fried and seasoned jalapeño and lemon. Also tried pork green chile and Cajun fries.

Visiting from out of town decided to pop in and give this place a try. The server was very welcoming and helpful his recommendations for brew on tap. I could taste that the truffle parmesan wings were made fresh and the Cajun sweet potato fries were delicious!

My group of friends needed a place to watch a football game on Saturday night, and this place fit the bill. There were a few TVs, and we got them to change the channel on the TV above our table to the one we wanted. We got some truffle fries and boneless wings to start. The wings were a lot better than I thought they would be, but they were a bit pricey. I got the chicken sandwich with Cajun fries. The sandwich was a little thinner than I expected, but the fries were very good. You do have to pay to upgrade from chips to fries, which was annoying. This place had a good amount of seating and could seat a large group. I do think it is overpriced, but the food was good.

Very cute place to grab a bite and refreshing drink. They have beer and vine on tap, the service was great (it was nine of us 5 kids included). I had raspberry wheat bear and tomato basil sandwich and it was simply the best

Delicious food and lots of options like gator, okra, po boys and large salads! Excellent patio seating off of Main Street with great views of the mountains and less foot traffic. Bar staff was super friendly and happy to be there. Food was so good! My group got a pizza, a salad and the jambalaya which was fantastic. Cute spot, I’m excited to go back!

Pizza was excellent, cheese curds were some of the best I have had. Plenty of great craft brews on tap. Happy to find a Packer bar while in the area for the game!!

They are doing it right here! We’ve had more than a few meals here and every time the staff is friendly, prompt and always working hard. The food is delicious. The drink selection is solid with a great range. The food has consistently been fantastic. Served quickly, hot, and with great flavor combinations. The green chili is delicious, reminds me of the one I make at home. The chicken ranch bacon wrap is great, filled with a good balance of ingredients. The Cajun chicken sandwich is super delicious - I love that it’s pulled chicken and everything combined really well. The fries are also bomb, both the regular and the truffle fries. The tomato mozzarella sandwich is awesome - great flavors! The jambalaya, dirty rice, and Cajun chicken salad are also spicy and very good! You honestly can’t go wrong with anything you order, everything I’ve had has been delicious! Nice work, keep it up Trailhead! We’ll be back again and again!
